Trust Technique with Murphy (Red Heeler) to overcome timidity
มุมมอง 151ปีที่แล้ว
Murphy suprised us all today! 9 days ago was our first session. His people contacted me because he was so timid and skittish that after 4 weeks living with them, Murphy still couldn't be touched. He had daily doses of the Trust Technique since and it shows! When I arrived today I witnessed his human walking up to him and clipping on the lead without him cowering or flinching. 😱 How wonderful. 🤗...
Enrichment games for our Chihuahua X Jack Russell foster dog Patch
มุมมอง 91ปีที่แล้ว
Patch is 20-month old and recently lost her home due to her human's death. Now that she has settled in with us and has come out of her shell, she reveals that her active mind wants satisfying input. Today I showed her some nose games as I have observed how much she enjoys sniffing outside and when we are on walks. Plus, studies have shown that sniffing relieves stress and so has a relaxing effe...
Cedar's indoor obstacle course
มุมมอง 78ปีที่แล้ว
Winter is coming. The weather doesn't always lend itself to outdoor adventures but we can have fun inside with our dogs. 🐾🐶😊 Building an obstacle course doesn't require fancy and expensive equipment. With a bit of creativity and imagination a lot can be done. 👍There are safety considerations: If there are any jumps or running, make the floor non-slip (with a yoga mat, for example). If your dog ...

Resolving jealousy between dog and cat with the Trust Technique
มุมมอง 840ปีที่แล้ว
Millie and Chloe do not live a cat-and-dog life. They get along pretty well. 🐶🐱 When it comes to their human attention, however, Millie the dog gets jealous easily and shoos away Chloe. The cat is always magnanimous in her response. 😇 Their human would like to help build resilience in Millie so that she can be ok when Chloe shares a cuddle with her. When other animals come close to their human,...

thank you Mia, very helpful and inspiring 🙏
What a fun back yard 🌲✨️🖤🤎🖤🤍💛
Thank you very much for having just learned the analogy from you. It has helped me a lot to understand the technique on a deeper level now. The Trust Technique is simply wonderful and I now know how to practice it in dealing with people. That's what I've always missed, this great analogy. I'm also so happy for Russel.Danke!!
@@himmelnah369 Thank you for your feedback. I am delighted that watching my video contributed to a deeper understanding of the Trust Technique for you. 💛
This is interesting. I very much like how you used co-regulation to support the person and the cats. Can you share more details on the use of the crates, for example: 1) How much time each day were the cats restricted to the crates? and 2) Were the cats engaged in anything particular if/when they were allowed out of the crates -- such as interactive play time with their person, or sun bathing / nature viewing on a window perch? Thanks for sharing!
Very interesting videos about Luka and Buddha. I'd love to know how they are now (part 4?). Do they live happily ever after?
Hi, Mia. Thank you for sharing. Perhaps you could continue by putting up session 4, 5 , and etc...? It would be useful to include seeming or apparent obstacles -- we know that with patience and persistence, eventually there's only one way forward. Can you fill us in?
This stuff works. It really does work. Nice to see your videos showing how effective being calm and allowing the dog to trust us for who we are
I really like watching your videos. Some amazing stuff.
Thank you.
What a wonderful 'finale' to this story of V.! Great video and information. He/she really looks to be flying so strongly and confidently despite the fracture! What a special kindness you gave this corella, and what attentive care he/she received at the wildlife hospital. 💚
Yes. So heartwarming in the face of so much wildlife killed on the roads, etc. 🙏
good
Luka is very attached to Buddha. He wants his attention and he’ll get it anyway he can. Release the outcome.
Can we just take a second to note how incredibly clean this pet owner’s home is? Amazing!
I love the Trust Technique. Wonderful!
It's a wonderful way to help resolve "problems". ❤
If the brain of a traumatized animal is simple and using the technique the wonderful animal can be healed, on the other hand a traumatized and conscious human being, with a more complex brain, how could it be healed?
That must have been such a happy moment when he came up for strokes
James French the founder of the artist Technique. Just the BEST EVER.
What about dog aggression toward other dogs out and about on walks?
Hi Helen, yes, the Trust Technique can help these issues too. Is that your experience with your own dog? Feel free to email me if you'd like to learn more. mia@unhurried.com.au
Does it work with reptiles or birds?
Yes! I have worked with birds. I don't have personal experience with reptiles but other practitioners have shared with me their experiences with snakes.
Merci beaucoup 🤩
Avec plaisir 😊
It never ceases to amaze and delight me watching this technique being practised - and working so well! Absolute magic,
Yes, it never gets old for me either. It's touching each and every time.
Did he lie down eventually?
Are you german??? If yes, do you have a german channel????? Thank you very much. ❤❤❤
Hello Sabine I am originally from Austria, so yes, my mother tongue is German. No, I do not have a German channel. Sorry.
@@unhurried2023 no, it is ok. You are easy to understand. Thank you for your work. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ die Wörter, die ich nicht verstehe, schlage ich nach ☺️
@@sabinewetzel2272 Excellent. ❤
Poor Millie, she wants a stroke too. She's upset at being ignored when the cat gets pets. I don't get why the owner can't pet them both? I mean near the end, when the owner is sat on the floor, not at the start. I agree the cat-chasing at the start needs addressing. To me her whining and scratching at the end is distress rather than attention seeking.
Vulcan mind-meld. Not convinced it works tbh. Eddie was scratching and looking uncomfortable even at the end. Maybe he'd like a little cat-bed in a quiet corner?
I once closed all the curtains, lay down on a mattress on the ground and put on a meditation tape. Within 2 minutes both my cats were fast asleep on my belly.
What a beautiful experience. It is wonderful to meditate with our animal companions. The Trust Technique adds the skill to help our animal to let go any unpeace - an inner state that keeps them from joining us no matter how serene we set up our session - if it arises.
Thank you, Mia. ❤ This is so interesting! It is easy to see the progress being made. I am looking forward to part 4.
yes, it works, but why use a create?
Blessings to you for this wonderful work. Now let's try it with Russia and Ukraine.❤ Deep appreciation 🙏
Such good friends ❤
For starters, I don't see Eddies corner there anywhere, no cat bed, no box of any kind, no toys. What is that about ? He does not look comfortable, but rather neglected to me... which takes a tall on his nerves - hence the things mentioned in the video. Diet is a big thing, I can tell you that much... I do believe animals are like little children and take on the energy of their human parents to then express it, because in this way it can be addressed... I think we are about to enter the age of 'animal-human therapy'. A session for both - with an animal communicator and a human therapist present. That might be insightful. I hope that Eddie and his human can become more comfortable with themselves and each other ❤️☀️ If I'm gonna get hate for this - I will delete the comment and go on about my day. So before writing something stupid, think about what I wrote and see if it resonates. Humans are a mess - don't make it worse.😔
Can this method be used remotely with an animal?
No. This is a method you learn to practice with your animal in person.
Yes, it can. It's a form of meditation. It'll change you (even if you don't believe in the distal effects) so that you are more trusting and calm when you are with the animal.
I love love love the TT and the videos you share with us. Thank you, Mia💓
You're welcome. ❤ I love the TT too.
Thank you Mia. It is so great to see the overview of what is happening ... in the moment especially with some unpeace coming up, I am not always able to see at the time, or else able to recollect, the nuances of the relationship dynamics. Bless! ☯🌼
You are so very welcome. Yes, videos are such a good way to track progress.
Again this is so useful. Will look forward to part 4. It shows that progress can be slow, but moving forward inch by inch the cats are slowly adapting. Beautiful to watch and wonderful to see what’s possible. 🙏😺
Thank you for leaving this comment. There is a lot of work that goes into editing the video footage to make these videos and I so appreciate to hear that you are finding it helpful. Thank you.
Was doing this today, but I ended up feeding them grass.
So how many sessions of the Trust technique do you need to do per day and how long do you need the sessions to last in order to heal an ill cat? Once a day? Or once a week? Or more?
Practicing the Trust Technique on a daily basis can support a sick animal in their healing journey. It's an addition to whatever healing approach - conventional, alternative or integrative - you choose. Doing daily Trust Technique sessions creates a low-stress environment - the best possible surroundings for getting better. I hope that clarifies things for you.
You're practising and explaining the TT so well. 💚
Thank you. 🐱
This is very helpful thank you. I am working through the TT with my own cats and it is such a beautiful process. Looking forward to seeing these lovely cats progress in part 3 😊🙏
Part 3 is filmed, just not edited yet. 😊 Yes, working with the TT is a beautiful process. Lucky cats, lucky you. 🐱
@@unhurried2023 😊
Watching with interest. I need to buy two crates that you can see out of.
Well done boys, doing so well!💙
Precious. Can really see Buddha starting to 'let go' into a more peaceful state with Kirrah. Great to see the nuances of their body movement, twitches, eyes etc.☺
Smart dog!!
Lovely example of Realisation Learning 💜🙏
It's such a rewarding process.
Beautiful as always...
Thank you. 🙏🐶🐱
😎 cool
Thanks for your videos, I always watch them with interest. 😊
You're welcome. And, thank you. :-)
How lovely this little dog has found some peace with the Technique. 😊
I know this is more that just ignoring…. Is this like energy healing?
It's providing co-regulation so that the puppy's nervous system can enter a restful state. Over time, self-regulation is possible. I hope this answers your question satisfactorily. 😊
Such beautiful work!! So lovely to be able to watch 🥰🥰
