WOW. A good song truly taken to the next level. Imho this is the best version ive ever heard. Its that full of seventies sensibilty and soft power its simply awe`ing. Simply love it.

This is one of my all time favorite albums and this is my favorite song from this album.

Nope, nope Stills doesn't need to solo. The perfectly timed licks that only Neil Young can lend to this song are missing. Youngs contorted voice is perfect but the guitar work doesn't fit in. As great a guitarist as Stills is, not here.

I bought this when it came out. Since them my love for John Cale has increased. He's a genius. The whole album is fantastic.

It is said that people love pop music because it is repetitive and people are comforted by knowing what is to come. I love music like This album (and a lot of fusion music) for the complete opposite reason, you are never sure what the drummer or keyboardist will do next or where the song will take you. 10/10.

Recorded during December 1970, "Feast of Stephen" (named for the day after Christmas, December 26), this is the soundtrack to a New Year's Eve party. John Cale's instrumental arrangements at their most genius. This track is John Cale at his absolute best, with him on piano, guitar, bass, and viola, and himself, Liza Strike, and Sue & Sunny on backing vocals.
