Afternoon there buddy The Rock looks good nice job on it. And just a little tip on my end let your first coat light let it dry if you got a stand always stand from the outside in when you add your second coat go about an inch wider than the first coat let dry and then sand from the center out. And I know a lot of people don't like doing a third coat but the third coat you can do a light coat as well. And the same thing saying from the center out sometimes you can get away with a late wet sponge sand to to knock down some of the heavy areas. I can hang some rock I can do some spackling but I tell you what slapping mud around is a dirty job and either you have it or you don't lol😅. But the cabin is looking good outside looks real good and nice and clean up and I really like the woods last sawmill shed got some nice slabs over there. Have a good week God bless
Cannot determine slope or direction, but it seems you have the slope backwards. Why do you lap the second (or your 1st, Over the existing or first coarse?

Looks great 👍 nicely done. And I would do the columns horizontal with the leftover tongue and groove a 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 cap trim on the corners. And then split it up a little bit. .
Good morning bud glad to see you're starting with the porch I like the idea of putting the tongue and groove board in before you put the siding up. It's going to look really good when you're done and hey if you got a couple things here and there here's an old trick my pop used to do he take real fine sawdust and mix it with Elmer's wood glue, and fill in the seams and then do a lightly sand over the scene with the grain and now you got a it's sealed and you can't even tell. And man you're making great progress on getting the exterior all done. Then you can concentrate on the inside. God bless you have a safe weekend now

I totally forgot to tell you that you could have took the sashes out and set the frame in and tax screwed one bottom corner and the opposite top corner and then put the sashes back in and then leveled it. Good morning buddy. Cabin is look great with the windows in . And yes not easy setting some windows by your self but i have to say 👍👍👍☺️. And thank God that you did have the water randomly throughout your property. Where you just got a little bit of wire damage hopefully that's all and it saved you from burning down possibly more than just a tractor. . And yeah I definitely would take your advice you said don't start it till you trace all the wires and replace what you have to replace with new and put all new wireless in I would suggest. Glad the fire didn't have time to really make a sad situation worse. Smart you're thinking about those bare wires before moving forward on the tractor. Hope the big window doesn't give you any grief.
