It's a weakened version that spawns on some of the Maelstrom missions. The Crucis hammer makes quick work of them!

what even happened
I punch the first coin, send two more coins out and shoot the third (which both link to the first punched coin hanging above the target's head), then I throw a fourth which follows my momentum and flies upward. I then use the Sharpshooter and shoot the ground which ricochets the shot into that fourth coin, resulting in an ultraricoshot.

It's mostly timing tbh. The coin matches V1's velocity, so if you're falling it's just about waiting for the coin to flash (which is when it's punchable).
