The predicted heat wave is upon us in Maine. Day 1 just hit 90° with lots of humidity. just got out of work and was not looking to cook. Hot Dogs loaded and a chocolate milk shake was calling me out. Definitely a favorite of mine at the Island Dairy Treat in Skowhegan, Maine.

Grooming a Goatee with the Aberlite Pro Heated Brush!

After having a full big beard for years, I chose to go with a goatee. Still use beard oil, butter, balm and wash. Just less of it. Purchased the Aberlite Pro heated brush for the short beard and works great on a goatee facial hair style. Men with goatee don't get enough recognition! Miss Hazel is about 8 years old and living the cat lifestyle. She is the the hunting mode. Unfortunately the squirrel was faster. Makes for good entertainment, enjoy!

Great job! Obviously the lady is very happy. Good radio, I have one a few years I take to the park when I’m fishing. The receiver is excellent when on the boost mode. My green recharge batteries from Amazon prime were terrible, gotta get real batteries not the Amazon junk. All the best! 73

Smart antenna choice. It looks really good on that radio too. Another good one is the 24 inch SA2 whip sold on RightChannelRadio and CBworld for when you need something a bit more rugged.

I just picked one of these cobra's up just for shits and giggles plus the metal long antenna just because. I'm pretty impressed by the radio so far. Not bad set up for a hundred bucks. I have noticed less people on CBs around my town over the past few years.

Where did you get the telescopic antenna? I have this CB also but it don't transmit anymore for some reason. I have t o get another one. Maybe 2. One to go out with and one for the house. Where are you located?

New to the radio life I got a cb passed down from a buddy of mine who passed away and I haven’t figured it out yet it has so many knobs and options so it prob my ignorance .. for work I got the Cobra 50 WX in this video.. is much more convenient going in and out of mines … I have an antenna for the cb going to see if I can use it on the walkie but still trying to figure it out seems like I struggle to find just simple channels to communicate even next to truckers with my cb so I’m going to try this and keep the cb home for now .. any suggestions ? I can look up exact model and all if people have advice I hear this community is very helpful
