No. Even if he do not realize it, if he gets to play in other bigger leagues, that would be enough. Imagine if he was given the chance to play in the g-league or the NBL, that would be awesome for him and for Gilas.

Ka-Basket yung kay QMB medyo mahirap pa rin isugal natin na talagang qualified siya maging local. Troy Rosario for me is a more plausible pursuit para maging core ng Gilas. Malaki may tira rin naman sa labas at pwedeng defensive presence sa mga 2 guards at small forwards ng ibang bansa. Age na lang din ang humahabol 32 na din eh so kailangan talaga ng mas bata na mag stay ng ilang taon talaga sa Gilas system.

Para sa akin Ka-Basket, kung athleticism ang pag-uusapan leaps and bounds si abando lalo na mas bata siya. Pero kung basketball IQ ang pag uusapan, mas may edge si Perez and palagay ko yun ang mas hanap ng Gilas System para makasabay sa mga Asian giants ng basketball.

Pero kung makikita mo rin maglaro si Abando sa KBL, ang laro niya although exciting geared towards highlight plays eh from drives and defense talagang buwis buhay. Mas gusto lang din siguro ni Tim Cone na mas systematic and none of the individual plays. Pero ok din ang opinyon mo Ka-Basket at mas maganda yan din pag-usapan kung mas gagana ba ang PUSO o ang SISTEMA o dapat pareho.

Sa athleticism at grit ok si abando. Kailangan pa din ng hasa sa gigil at sigurado ding mag aadjust talaga siya sa sistema ni coach tim cone. Ang magandang gawin sa opinyon ko Ka-Baskey is isama si abando sa ibang international competitions para makapa niya muna yung system ni coach tim kung saan pwede pa mag exksperimento sa pasok ng tao.
