The hands needs to be removed and repositioned for that, which can be done by a watch technician. Usually brands don’t focus on having the date changed sharp by 12am it will usually change within 12 - 2am.

U might have probably set it to afternoon 12. That's the issue. Try winding it to 12 and set the date again it should work.

And one more thing the date won't change exactly at 12 o clock it will take some time. it will change within 1 o clock not sure exactly how long it will take. Probably 10-15 mins
