Trinidad Travel Vlog Trini Beach Lime + Midnight GIANT Turtle Watching!
Our trip to Trinidad was nothing short of an adventure. So much nature to see, scenic places to explore, fruit to pick, and and beaches to swim in. Once we settled in the Toco, we took off exploring along the coast line. We had an amazing time driving to Galera Point to go site seeing. We checked out the Toco light house, and stood pretty close to a blowhole! Later that evening we went turtle watching at a beach no recommended for swimming off of Toco Main Road. We couldn't believe in the middle of the darkness, there on the beach was a LEATHERBACK SEA TURTLE! The turtle was at least 5 feet. You could also visit Grande Riviere beach to see hundreds of leatherback turtles that emerge every night from the sea from March to September to lay their eggs. Disappointed in the drinks 😂 was looking forward to getting 🔥 lit lol. Did you do any activities like swimming with the dolphins 🐬? If so how was it? Did anyone approach you all selling weed or edibles? Lol. I ask because in Mexico 🇲🇽 and Hawaii they kept asking us 😂.

Hi Aire! Thank you! The bathing suit is from matte collection. It has that sheer black bathing suit top and multi color bottom. I then tied a black sheer wrap around my waist that happened to match. I had it for years nothing fancy!
Just got back a week ago, the jerk hut was the only good food there! Went to all of restaurants not a lot of options! But other than Everything Else was A-1! Private pool with the room Overrated! Small!!!! Stay in the up graded rooms With the huge balcony!!!!

Isn’t the shuttle service included for “free”?
I believe it’s included if you book directly from the Hyatt website.
Was resort 420 friendly?
I didn’t notice a designated area but people definitely sold & use it.
How did you book the lounge
We booked directly through the resort. The believe it was online or you can do it at the airport when you arrive.

Depends on where you’re staying. Montego Bay is only 15 mins from the airport. Negril and Ocho Rios is further.

You are correct. The reviews are what determines their job raises and placements etc. plenty of past workers I dealt with at all inclusive resorts told me for them to get job promotions etc comes from customer reviews. So if you can specifically list their names of the people that helped you even better.

Is it illegal to bring a drone into Trinidad?
I don’t believe it is. You just need authorization to do so…legally. The problem is contacting the appropriate department. Nobody knew at the airport.

The comments you are giving after visiting this resort are precisely what I feel viewing the videos. We are considering this resort for a girl’s trip. I’m getting standard vibes and not so much luxurious. I’ve been to Jamaica several times, and to Barbados, the Bahamas, etc. and have never paid for a coconut. That doesn’t sit well with my spirit. ;-0 Also, thanks for the heads up about the transportation.

I notice you said you can wait in their lobby so would you recommend not to book the mobay?
It’s really not necessary. We stayed at the Hyatt lounge at the airport. The wait was literally less than 30 mins. If so much.
I would still highly recommend booking Club MoBay. In my opinion, the lounge itself is just a "bonus". The purpose of booking Club MoBay is to fast track you through customs. It cuts the wait by up to 75%. I booked a last minute trip to Jamaica in April 2022 -Club Mobay was SOLD OUT - and it took me 3 hours to get through customs without Club MoBay. Or course, it depends how busy the airport is, but after the first time I used Club Mobay in 2015 (I've been to Jamaica 7 times) since then, I never go without it. We book all our Jamaica travelers with Club MoBay. It's a policy in my agency. lol Hope this helps! :D

Is it the norm for it to lay so close to the shore? When I went many years ago the guide did not want us to use any bright light as it would bother the turtle
As far as we know, no it’s not normal. Someone at the beach told us that sometimes the turtles dig “dummy” borrows to confuse predators. Let’s hope the latter.
