God bless people with a sense of humor. One can really connect with the sense of excitement at a new opportunity in a new place.
Great video! You and I are certainly kindred spirits. I have a chair that is almost identical. One of the key features is the height adjustment. For me, that saves my knees after a driving Sim session. For you it will be after you've flown to New Orleans and back. Your special effects are lots of fun!
Thank you and you are right about flying. But now with the great lean back adjustment I found a whole wall (or ceiling) I can put more monitors

Contemplating trading my Street Glide for an Eldorado. I've two other Guzzi and recently sold my Cali Vintage because I couldn't get on with the riding position. Think the Eldorado would be fine. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the comment. I miss the character of the Guzzi alot. A good service dealer near me was one of the issues why I moved on. But I would not mind a stone in my garage for putting around town
Given the prices of SSD drives nowadays, you got quite a bargain! I put on a 2 TB SSD on my gaming system. Made quite a difference. Nice cinematography!
thank you loyal follower !!
From the factory, they come limited with only 70% throttle. You must get an Ivan Flash or similar to fix performance. Also, they turn the fans on sooner to fix the cooling, driving performance, etc.
that is interesting, I wonder why 70% throttle? thanks for the tips !!

Moto Guzzzi is a European bike, but foremost it is ITALIAN. The factory is on the shoes of beautiful Lake Como and featured the FIRST wind tunnel. Guzzi built the first V-8 motorcycle decades ago. Guzzis are so reliable and robust the California Highway Patrol used them in the 70s, including automatic versions. Hence the California model.
Thank you for you comments, I loved so much the time I spent with my Guzzi, I miss her every day

Thanks for the video, i use it as a reference because i play the game for now with my Asus TUF Dash F15 laptop and it run good even tho not really smooth especially in a crowded air traffic, big airports, and playing at night. I've been considering to buy a mini PC just for the sake of the compactness. I'm a gamer and i play bunch of games like MSFS, FIFA, and other game. I have a monitor setup but i'm not using it regularly because i don't want to plug in and out everytime i want to use it. So for months i'm not really using my monitor and i felt bad for it. Mini PC definitely the cheaper options for a PC. Once again, thank you Jeff.
you are welcome, thanks for taking the time to letting me know your situation. FS is a really fun game and finding the right combination of machine, controls can be a challenge. I don't talk about it in the video but I have used FS on an xbox s and it is an alternative to consider as well.

Could the 'tucked right elbow' be a hindrance?
Will give that a try and let you know. Thanks !
Jeff, while watching the video, I noticed that when turning to the right, your right elbow was tucked into your right hip; but when turning to the left, your left elbow was 4" to 6" away from your left hip.
OMG, That is so Cool, thank you for noticing it. I really appreciated it!! I will give that a try and let you know!..
Funny that you blurred the plate for the one scene but not the others. 😅
you are right. Trial and error for sure. I will get better !! thanks for your comment
I just bought a 2016 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Voyager with only 13k miles on it. I'm the 4th owner and I absolutely LOVE this bike. My only original complaint is that a former owner put LOUD Vance & Hines mufflers on it. I don't like LOUD! However, yesterday I went by Great Western of Hickory N.C. (Kawasaki dealer) to see what I could do about quieting my bike down. Low and behold, one of the service guys had just bought a Kawasaki Vaquero with stock mufflers on it. He wanted LOUD mufflers and I wanted QUIET mufflers, so we made an even swap! Now he has a LOUD bike and mine is nice and quiet just like I LIKE IT and it didn't cost me a dime! 😊Thanks Cameron!
Thank you for your story and glad you got your bike the way you want it. I guess that the OEM Vaquero should be pretty close to the voyager in terms of loudness but not sure. I don't plan on upgrading my bike as I like the sound it makes with the OEM pipes and tuning. I figure why mess with it. I am not sure about the ivans upgrade which I have heard much about and recommended. My understanding is that the ECU gets a sticker on it when they IVANs tune the bike. might be worth checking. The other way to tell is to ask if they connected the O2 sensor to the muffler. I think they unplug that with an Ivans upgrade. Best of luck with your ride.
@@jeffmurray7448 The Vaquero and the Voyager have the same 1700cc motor so the exhaust is interchangeable. As for the Ivan's ECU Flash, I can let you know more about that after Tuesday! I'm riding my bike down to Greenville S.C. to Ivan's Shop (a 2.5-hour ride) to have him Flash my ECU. He told me that "I won't recognize my bike after he's done, because I'll think that I'm riding a brand-new bike home!"
Change the headlights to LEDs..You will not regret it..
Have not thought about that as I don't ride at night. I keep the side lights on as well as the headlight when riding during the day as well. Do you think they will help other see me better during the day?
@jeffmurray7448 100% they will..I bought some eagle lights LEDS and they light up the night with a white light..You can probably get some day makers offline for cheaper though.
Wished they would have kept that color scheme!
I agree. I Guess this makes for unique offering for each year since they don't change the bike that much. Thanks for your comment
Why are you brushing the dogs so hard with a wire brush you are causing them pain asshole smh

Please consider doing a review on a replacement or better than the boomerang system. I have the boomerang and the Bose version and the shockwave. Hi, thanks for the comment. Have you hear of the Sony SRS-NS7? Was thinking of looking into that one but the price jump would put my expectations pretty high. But if it lives up to it, should be a great piece.

I have a 2010 Voyager that I bought used in July 2015 with 1700 miles on it. The guy that bought it new in 2014 lost his job and sold it to me for $7500.00. I added a Garmin navigation system to it and now have 31000 miles on it. I have a 2019 Kawasaki Concours that I bought new to replace my 2008 Hayabusa that I let my stepson talk me out of.

It has already been 39 years since I had to give up my Moto Guzzi California II due to a severe rear-ending as a passenger in a station wagon. Go figure...
bummer, these bikes have a place in my heart! thanks for watching

Nice bike. I have one too, I enjoy riding it. Didn't do exhausts, replaced the filter with K&N and it flys amazingly. Take Care and Ride Safe.
Thank you ! I need to do the Air Filter for sure.
Jeff how tall are you? I'm going to look at a 2016 tomorrow. I'm 6'2", about 280 lbs... my concern is that I'm going to be tight on the voyager. Thoughts?
Sorry, I was out of the country last week, how did it go? I am 6 feet. I have no problems with fit or reach on the bike. I know that the gold wing has more passenger room than the voyager. not sure is that is an issue. The key metrics I think about is 1) seat comfort 2) leg bend (are my legs bent too much) 3) windshield height and helmet shake at high speeds. All of which were resolved after a test drive. I was coming a Moto Guzzi Eldorado which was tighter than I thought in retrospect so the Voyager felt huge in comparison. Let me know how your visit went and what you decided.
You will be comfortable on it, I’m 6’1” 230 lbs. My wife is 5’7” and maybe 145-150 lbs and she says it’s very comfortable to her.
What's your fuel range on that bike?
When Full it will go about 220 miles I think. I usually fill up no after no more than 150. Besides by then I need a break. Thanks for checking out the video.
Can this pc run vr through valve index, great review.
I have run VR through the custom built machine to reasonably good results in terms of performance. Unfortunately after 15 min the headset is hot on my head and I start to get sick so I don't use VR that much.
@@jeffmurray7448 Thank you for replying and I do not think that pc is for me as most of my games inc msfs I run through my vr headset.
Great video ! It's clear and well done, Thanks !
Glad it was helpful!
I own a 2005 Vulcan Classic 1500 Fuel Injected. It has over 101,000 km (about 63,000 miles) and the only thing this bike has ever cost me was tires (rear every 25,000, front every 50,000), oil changes every 5000 km and a new battery and spark plugs at 85,000 km. The battery was still doing fine but after 12 years I figured it had served me well and when I removed the spark plugs they were still like they were put in 1000 km ago but I replaced them anyway. It even has the original brakes. I am quite satisfied with this bike and will most likely replace it with another Kawasaki when this one fails (if it ever does). I get between 50-55 miles per imperial gallon (5 litres/100 km) depending on how fast I drive it, which is quite impressive for a big displacement V-twin. This bike is very comfortable for the driver but the back seat could be improved a bit. I have put 1300 km in one day more than once and wanted to keep going. For this reason alone, I would probably upgrade to a touring model (Voyager) only to improve the rear seat. The rest of the bike is perfect.
That is awesome, what a great bike. the reason that the voyage went to the top of my list is because I did own a 1999 Vulcan drifter and it was pretty flawless as well. The testament to a great bike (or car) is that the more you own it the more you like it. (not less) I think these bikes fit that category well.
Just a couple of comments. Firstly I remain in awe of your cinematography skills. You actually make assembling a Lego interesting! KUDOS. Secondly your thought process is totally non- linear. What arouses my curiosity is how you got to the place were you were thinking about space travel? Then from there, let's get a Lego! Bravo!
ok, so I am in the middle of the Elon Musk book which is what got me interested in space travel and just so happens I have a lego set given to me during covid that I had not started yet. So seemed like a great match. Most of the video is shot with a insta360 x3 with a custom timelapse. What is great the mistakes and "redos" you have to with legos are carefully hidden with timelapse and editing. Does make me look quite easy.
Very intriguing new toy. The photographic capabilities are exceptional. From a cinematography perspective, the camera should be in landscape rather than portrait mode. Your head movements are accentuated too much in portrait. Kind of like trying to watch a movie through a key hole in a moving car. If you used the mic in the glasses to record your voice, it was very good. Now I have to see if they can be had with prescription lenses.
Thanks Rich, I agree with your assessment. The voice was done after. i will do a recording with voice capture soon. I was not able to find an obvious way to get into landscape mode. my guess is the general use case is short camera style videos. And maybe wear a neck brace to limit head movement will help to. Might be my motorcycle training that has me looking around all the time.
Jeff, in your video, you were walking down a trail or walkway. Howabout you take the trail in segments where you, at the beginning, stop and shoot the scene. You pause the camera walk to the next spot, stop and shoot, etc. You can merge the various scenes as fades. The finished product may look like you are walking from place to place while you are shooting a video. Just a thought.@@jeffmurray7448

A few years back I bought a ‘14 Voyager with only 9000 miles. First mod was a 12”Clearview windscreen with a vent, very much appreciated riding in AZ. I also had the ECU Ivanized, a must for this beast. I’ve taken this bike on a few multi state rides, very comfortable, plenty of storage with a bag the pillion seat. Cruising ~80 with the cruise control on getting 40 MPG. I like this bike.
Thanks for sharing and what a great find on a low milage bike. I am sure mods are in my future but just now getting used to the weight and how it handles.
@@jeffmurray7448 Recently I added the Oxford heated grips (also have them on my Yamaha Super Tenere) after a trip up to Oregon. They heat up better than the OEM heated grips on the Yamaha. Amazon $100.
Just picked up a 2014 Custom w' 4600 miles 5999!! it needed new tires but considering what 6k gets you when looking elseware around the motorcycling world how could I NOT buy this guzzi. rolling work of art. Looking forward to summer.
I miss mine for sure! ok well not the oil leak but the bike has so much character you just feel a bit special riding it. When I traded mine in for my voyager (so my wife can ride comfortably) they sold my guzzi in about a week for 7 or 8 I think so you got a great deal. Enjoy it
If they didn’t make the paint jobs so 70-year-old-man-ish, they might sell better. That is the only reason why I ended up going Harley. I’ve been a Japanese bike fella my entire life. But to get a bagger that actually looks and sounds good, there are no other options. Bought my 2021 RGS in Snake Venom with a Stage III 122 used with 5,100 miles for $27k. I’ve been SUPER happy with it. Got more compliments in the year that I’ve owned it than all the rest of my bikes combined over the last 20 years. I’d buy a Gold Wing before a Voyager. Although, the Vaquero doesn’t look bad for what it is.
Great comment and your bike sounds amazing. I am going to give the Voyager a bit more seat time before I put money into modifications. There are lots of other options out there for sure.
First you show your licence plate, and later on blurr it? It's a very nice bike. Sounds and looks very good.
good catch, thanks. yea.. not sure if it really matters, saw other people do it so I tried. I will figure it out. thanks for the comment on the bike.
It doesn't matter, enjoy your bike. Have a nice day
Love the bike. The colour gives a 50's sort of vib and look.
Thank you for your comment. the color does stand out amongst the other bikes out there in typical black or grey. I personally like the dark blue version they sold a while back. But this one is like a teal color and matches pretty close to my Favorite hockey team, San Jose Sharks.
Have you raced the Harley Davidson 103 Roadglide with power commander , and Vance and Hines pipes? You'll blow it away with a stock Kawasaki.

An absolutely beautiful bike.
Yes indeed! Thanks for watching
Do you regret selling the Moto Guzzi? Is the weight difference that big from the Kawasaki the new one?
I would have to say sometimes. first I don't feel as special on the Kawasaki, it is a proven design and classic looks and I feel confident on it. Sound is great, room for my wife and enough power to get me around but it does not want to be pushed hard. At first the weight difference felt huge! with the tour pack etc. but I think most of that is summed up in the way the weight is carried and the tires size differences. It is not a big deal now. The Motoguzzi was always ready to pull you and envite you to wind it out. Pure blast. The sound was ok but kinda industrial espeically sitting on top of it. It looked amazing and people don't just say "nice bike" they either ask what is that, have a story of their own or take a good long stare at it. So say, it has and always have a special place in my heart. However special comes with a price. 1 hour drive for survice, oil like that they can't sort out, and electronics that are bound to go out at some time. Kawasaki is likely not to have thoes issues ever. Hope that helps and thanks for the question.
Do you know what was leaking oil on your Guzzi ? What part it was or what area of the engine the leak was found ? Thank you@@jeffmurray7448
Thanks for sharing. I'm glad to see someone else having tough time to make a right turn. I was thinking maybe because I'm a lefty 😁. I'm thinking that the clutch hand is further away while making right turn may cause a hindrance. Just need more practice.
Thanks, the only thing I have been doing recently is making sure my inside shoulder is up (not pointed at the ground) it has given me more confidence. I tended to dip my right shoulder and thus leaning more than I should be. Something I have not talked about in other videos. oh.. and keep practicing
Really nice bike. Like the color too. Does this have quick shifter? What’s the difference between this and Vaquero?
It does not have a quick shifter, I bet one can be added aftermarket though. I don't know the exact differences between the two bikes. They share many components though and obviously missing the tour pack for a more sporty look. I expect the exhaust and tuning to be a bit different. Thanks for watching the video.
