I didn’t hear a thing on actual maintenance. How hard is it to get to the valves and adjust them? Easy oil changes? Where is placement of oil filters? Access to spark plugs? Roadside tire repair? Chain drive vs shaft drive? Just saying low maintenance means nothing to me. Is there any survey on user reports between breakdowns and maintenance schedules?

Very good video for a starter channel! I am 50 yo and start ridding 3y ago. Had a 125cc for 9 mounths and than switch to the Triumph Trident 660. The best choice i possible did. Very light (189kgs), the just right power (81bhp) to not change bike over more experience. Almost 19.000kms of great fun!

All good bikes, I don't think it makes sense to rank them. I have the cbr500r, it's a great daily bike but I'd argue that triumph and kawi a2 bikes are just as good, it's all just preference after that.

Confusing list. This is a mixture of lightweight and middleweight and excludes the ZX6R and ZX4RR.
