Orchids: New Orchids from Great Godfarthers
Im confused. Why are you putting it back into the same size pot?
What’s the name of that orchid?
Good video - are you in Qld?
Well Done ,Good Job.
Thank you! This is very inspirational. Is there a particular time in the orchid’s growing season you recommend separating the back bulbs from the mother plant? After blooming?
I add charcoal, perlite and some volcanic rock pebbles to increase drainage in with my orchid bark.
How to pot epidendrum
What is the medium is soil good?
Camera moved all over the place. I have no idea what you were talking about.
Lovely video.... Of massive orchid repotting
always happy to look at orchid roots, how old is your orchid?
Thank you for the video! 🌸🌞🌸
Wow
Luv gardening bare footed too👍👍👍
Thank you for the close ups for instructions👍👍👍so...u do have lots👍👍👍Time to sell some or give them to friends👍👍👍🦎🦎🦎
I can't believe all the people complaining about the Guru talking too fast or moving his camera too fast. If you came here to learn something about this orchid, just take your time and pay attention. I learned exactly what I needed to know regardless of whether or not he spoke fast, or the camera moved a lot. This man is taking his time to show and teach us about this orchid, be grateful for his labor of love. It's not as though we paid him to teach us about cultivating this particular species, sheesh!
We are not like you Jasmine ... Yes, he's giving a TUTORIAL which needs to be precise, and eye worthy. Yes, I learned too, but this video had no preparation. Everything was "off the cuff". 'Granted he knows his stuff, but we are not all that "from the womb" savvy. I had to be stopping and rewinding!!
Just be more organized, use the correct media according to specie, careful with repotting, put more air between plants and continue to love them as you seem to do.
For cymbidium I use a mix of mix and bark.
Your plants look good, if you have snails you have to search the out at night and kill. If you have fungus, a safe bet is hydrogen peroxide 3% from pharmacy instead of harsh chemical. If that doesn’t work, you could use Thiomyl-but be careful it is toxic. Gloves and masks are a must for all fungicides and pesticides.
You have a lot of nice looking orchids, but try cleaning up your area and organizing. You commented that you couldn’t bother, but if you want to keep them healthy you should. Mb you cd sell some of the epis.
What a mess...lost a lot of good potting media on the ground. Will have to hose flown place. Nice plants, but poor methods...but his plants look good.
Lovely plant...nothing wrong with way he handled it...seems to be able to handle it...just wish he wouldn’t mumble so and if he would use whole sentences, anyway, I got the drift. He is going to be back to square one in no time with small pots
this is what happens if lazy people handle a gorgeous plant.
do you have water? soak it for few minutes so the roots soften.
I though the mosquito was from my side since I’ve been swatting them around tonight :). Thanks for video
Such nonsense...the way you explain is rubbish
I’m cringing watching you handle this poor orchid...sorry, goodbye
Can’t understand what he was saying.
Thanks, answered my questions!
Best you try something else plants must go into shock just seeing you coming.
Yeah man please slow down and be a bit more accurate on what you’re talking about. Lots of love to you anyway ❤️
Thanks for a nice video.Very strong root system, what kind of fertilizer that you fertilized?
Hi, i want to know oscomote ...
This video is so poorly made...
Your poorly made
@@Bahshshsvsh Mom?
How many of us swatted at the mosquito buzzing? 😳😂
Then you can but spray for insect coz some insects they eat the leaves
You must take out frim the roots and you can see if have small shells or small worms I have like this before
Puff pobre planta con lo bonita q estaba q manera d tocas los cuyons
Parece que nunca le pusieron agua
Wow! How did the orchid grow so big? Is t cattleya or dandrobium? Never seen it them that big before. Curious how big or what their flower looks like? Omg. I want one. Hehehe. Where ca I buy them?
I think it is Australia Dendrobium. Very easy to take care!
my parents rock orchid is huge. At least 6 foot round. Its wrapped around a tree
i recommend rehearsing your videos beforehand
Wowo those are beautiful . Can you share with me please
Those coconut fiber baskets you get at the big box stores are the worst. They are matted and dense. Stanhopea flowers need to push their way out of the bottom. Open plastic baskets or wood ones are best. Stanhopeas do not like roots disturbed. Soaking before repotting softens roots and leads to less damage. Those back bulbs looked rotted. Planting too deep and overwatering are probably the cause. Stanhopeas are spectacular when in bloom and often fragrant even if the flowers are short lived.
Hi spontina what light and temperature do stanhopeas like. I live in the Philippines in the capital Manila where average temperature is Warm. 😆
so cute
I’m ready to report my orchid ...thanks 👍🏻
Очень жёстко !!!
Too rough with that orchid!
