Supporting Neurodivergent Voices in Neuroscience Research
This participatory project paired neuroscientist Anne-Laure Le Cunff with neurodivergent artist Carrie Ravenscroft, who participated in a cognitive neuroscience lab experiment at KCL’s ADHD Research Lab and created a series of mixed-media artworks reflecting her experience and the broader experiences of neurodivergent participants in lab-based research. The process was documented by film director Jeremy Chevillotte and turned into a behind-the-scenes video. The resulting artworks and video were exhibited at the NEUROART exhibition at the Science Gallery.
The project was conceptualized and founded by Bethan Burnside. It was developed and driven by them, and Shaakir Salam and Keshvi Shah, with the help and input of Michael Motoc, Amar Mehta, and Aoife Coghlan.
The project was supported by the UKRI MRC Centre for Developmental Disorders, WOHL Cellular Imaging Centre, and ADHD Research Lab, based at King's College London, in addition to Ness Labs and the British Neuroscience Association.

Interesting. But also: Animals face the same issues: Elephants mourn their dead. If you have a dog and a cat and you will take the dog for a walk and the cat comes along: the cat dies, the dog surely misses it, it will stop all the time to see where the cat is... Is it mourning? Is it concerned? It is more universal then just in humans.... Tak your dog to the vet ant it gets anxiety because previous experiences. It will worry on the ride to it because it is not it's usual routine...

Over and over and over again you'll be lectured by not-so-smart white people who started three minutes from the finish line and define themselves as 'world champions'. Now with fewer human rights and more dictatorial laws in the UK and US, matters are going to get much worse real soon.

I'm only a little over twenty years behind you 😊and I'm finding myself in the same situation as you are. I don't have a complete plan yet, but here's what I've done so far: 1. did a Google search for top colleges for neuroscience 2. decided to look in depth at the neuroscience curricula from Harvard, MIT, and Johns Hopkins University. According to usnews ranking, these colleges are in the top five US colleges for neuroscience. The other two are Stanford and US San Francisco. 3. started a list of courses I'm interested in. This is a work in progress. I currently only have about twenty courses on the list. 4. looked up the syllabi for those courses to see the recommended textbooks, recommended readings, and the kinds of assignments students needed to complete. I wasn't able to find all syllabi, but I looked up similar courses on edu sites (sites that end with the _edu_ extension) and was able to find textbooks and other useful information that way. 5. made a 4-year plan for myself and am currently studying Biology, Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to Neuroscience, and Calculus I. Well, I'm actually studying more than that, but that's because Neuroscience is only a part of a slightly bigger goal. 😊 I haven't yet found other people who are teaching themselves neuroscience, but that's because I haven't looked yet. I did find some channels I enjoy watching, such as Tina Huang, Andrew Dotson, and Dimitri Bianco. None of them are learning neuroscience but I like their mindsets and their work ethics. They have a traditional college education but they go way above and beyond that and teach themselves new things. I hope this gives you some ideas for you own neuroscience learning plan. Best wishes to you. Your comment made me smile. I like the can-do attitude. ❤

I should be able to take a better look in the next few weeks. If it's not too much trouble, maybe you can post updates on how your learning is going. It will most likely inspire others to learn on their own also or, at the very least, it will give others one of those feel good moments we usually experience when we read interesting stories of challenge and success. 😊

In summary, when it comes to Masters degrees or any other postgraduate study, it's best to ask the specific course provider what you need, as they vary hugely from one course to another. Good luck!

Hello I am interested about brain. If I study neuroscience in my bachelor can I be able to learn about brain disorders and its treatment. Hope to get reply soon

First of all it's better not to mix neuroscience with neurology and dear, bachelor's degree syllabus involves the study of mental disorders and treatments but it's different from neurology!
