I've been a curious follower of Reggio and his work especially on his technological impacts on humanity. To my observation , he gets the irreversible changes of rapid growth vividly. But a flaw there is that he roots everything in a predeterministic sense. That might be great and productive in creative grind but in the novice generation of tech&info relied mostly on unexplored science would wind up the opposite, counterproductive. Maybe , had Reggio invested on the knitty-gritty areas of science rather than the philosophy of science would have been much precise. I WISHED. Can't wait for more.

Congratulations to Lois Lipman for getting this largely untold story out! Tina Cordova is deserving of any recognition, accolades and awards she receives for representing the many people that didn’t have a voice; some because they were too sick. That this could happen is alarming enough but for entire families - like ours - to suffer the dire consequences without even an apology, much less compensation is reprehensible! We now live in Arizona but my sister-in-law and I drove to Albuquerque to meet Lois and Tina several years ago when the documentary was just getting underway. My brother had just passed away after suffering from rare cancers. I remember the discussion on our way back to Phoenix where we reached the conclusion that the government was waiting until all those in the area at the time of the test bomb were dead. In our family 3 of my siblings have died after enduring the reality of the effects of the bombing. My granddaughter just visited Hiroshima and told her tour guide that our family had also experienced the effects of being bombed. Other people on the tour were very interested and not one of them had ever heard the story. I am hoping that the documentary gets the nationwide attention that it deserves. My sister in San Diego texted with a link to an Axios article so I’m hoping and praying that there will be widespread coverage. Thank you Lois and Tina!

Recently picked up "Blacula" & "Scream, Blacula, Scream" on DVD (the Blu Ray version is OOP & quite expensive now). I enjoyed those! Good to see that Joan is doing well & still creating. I am contemplating picking up a copy of her play, "Better Half Dead," to check out her other work outside of film. It sounds quite entertaining.

It's the cream of the crop of Native shows. Wes Studi doing an appearance would make it even better. Missing Russell Means though, but he would find the venture refreshingly true to the Native culture.

Loved reading the Tony Hillerman books years ago. Right now, I'm midway through binge watching the TV series. It has been fun. The characters are three dimensional, not just cartoonish portrayals of indians like you so often see from Hollywood.
