Deavi Kiosk in Topkapİ Palace (Istanbul): The Opportunity to Complain Directly to the Sultan
At 13:23, the black eunuchs were "recruited" from Africa. Great video, but are you serious? They were procured from Islamic slave traders. The Islamic slave trade, which captured both Europeans, as you said, and Africans, was far worse and lasted nearly a millennium longer than the European slave trade. The Muslims castrated the procured African males and forced them to guard the women in their harems, knowing they were no threat to the sultans with respect to having sex with the women and to procreating with them. Why use the word "recruited"? Would a man willingly be "recruited" to be castrated so he could guard another man's harem of mostly enslaved women? Just tell the truth; just say they were African male slaves of Muslims.
Your choices of REPETITIVE 'music' between your explanations is UNNECESSARILY DISTRACTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OTHERWISE, a fine and informative tour.
Thank you for your feedback.
A prison is a prison regardless of how beautiful the walls and floors are. Poor young girls captured and forced to live in this dark cold palace and have then have your children murdered.😢
☹️
A što ne prikažete mesto na kojem su odsecali glave!!! Zlotvori, ubice, monstrumi!!!
What is a suffering house?
Places for physical and spiritual purification, seclusion and distance from society, accompanied by very limited needs such as salt, oil, bread and water in order to attain guidance and unite with God.
Neden türkçe alt yazı yok 😮
Turkce altyazi eklenmistir. Bilginiz olsun. Tesekkur ederiz.
Basically the Harem was considered the inner palace and where the royal family and concubines lived.
Yes, correct.
Islam is a bloody religion. It has caused much suffering. The lovely majestic music here doesn’t fit
Very informative video ❤❤❤
Thank you very much bro. ☺️

How do i get to Kondoskali hotel in Fatih from the airport, using public transportation??
My suggestion: Go to Eminönü by metro and tram as described in the video. From there, take the T1 tram heading towards Aksaray (Attention: Do not take the tram heading towards Galata Tower, which cross the Galata bridge). Get off at the "Beyazit Grand Bazaar" stop. From there you can easily get to Kondoskali hotel either on foot or by taxi.
Very interesting vidéo please tbe municipal bus does it go to taksim and the number? Thank you
Thank you. The municipal bus “SG-2” works between Sabiha Gokcen Airport and Taksim.
Where is the golden path the room of hurrem and mahidevran?
We don’t know it.
Why the rooms are not open
Sorry, I don’t know.
Definitely worth visiting this street, great cafes and restaurants and very easy to get to. An interesting area.
Yes definitely. Thank you for your comment.
😍😍😍
Whats the price difference between Istanbul card vs your on credit card? Is it much?
I couldn’t find the correct answer. But some newspapers wrote: Bus, ferry, metro, tram: Double price. Metrobus: Tripple price.
If one reads the Koran particularly the Tafhimul Koran authentically explained by Sayeed Abul Ala Moududi, an unparalleled scholar in all branches of knowledge :Hebrew, Arabic,English, Percy, Hindi,Urdu,Vedanta, Gita,Tripitak, Bible by Barnabash and by others,Gindavista,Towrat,Jabur,Hadith, science,Philosophy, Ideologies of Marx,Lalin,Mousa tung, World literature, world History, Astronomy, Cosmology Astronomy, Geography,Biology, Physics, Mathmetics, one will find the definition of Muslims. Thanks. A Muslim always believe in the existence of Allah, all the prophetts,His revealed scriptures on the prophets and in the last and final prophet & messenger Muhammad sallellahu Alaiheoasallam, the heaven and hell, the destyny determined by Allah.A Muslim must act according to the doe's and don'ts of the Koran.
Thank you , very interesting. But this video made me very sad . I imagine how was the life there ...as a prison for women
You’re welcome. Thank you for the comment. Unfortunately you’re right. The Harem was not a vacation place for women 😔
@@IstanbulTheQueenofCities and not just for women , for all people there , all must serve this sultan ...also I saw this small cold place...poor slaves
Yes, you’re right.
Me emocionei ao assistir. Agora quero ir pessoalmente mais que nunca.
Obrigado pelo comentário. Sim, é um lugar muito diferente. As pessoas percebem isso melhor quando visitam.
Is open ?
Unfortunately no.
Hi can you shear how to booked Bosporus tour online with mobile app or website in good price
Hi. I never used a app for Bosphorus trip. I’m using the official company. But I a guy who prepares travel videos about Istanbul on Instagram recommended “Teknevia” app. I downloaded it for you. It seems ok.
I love them and I have a folder about them come take a ride! (at folder 2) :)) 🚅🚈🚞🚝🚂🚃🚄 trains, trams, aren't they all beautifull
Yes, very nice.
@@IstanbulTheQueenofCities 😎❤👍
Thank you for your video. What is the most convenient way from Sabiha airport to Lale Sultan hotel, near Eminonu?
Sorry I couldn’t answer earlier. The most convenient way are HAVAIST busses. But they don’t go directly to Eminönü. You have to walk a little bit after. The other ways are more comfortable but more expensive.
Hy, This card instanbul city card is it limited in having any restriction between the times when you use it from one station to another? For example, i tap in ,do i need to wait any time for a second attempt to tap in?
Hey Paul. There’s no restriction between the times when you use it from one station to another. You can use it several times in one station.
@IstanbulTheQueenofCities i ask because today i have issue, and the security say that i need to wait 30 min betwen the using. I DUNNO how true is but today i see was inactive....after a wile active again
Interesting. Because as I know there’s no time limit. Last week I went with a friend to a place. Her card didn’t work. I used my card twice and there wasn’t a problem. But sometimes soma securities are weird
At meydanı means "Horse Square"
Imagine the stress in home decorating if you’re designing things to prevent murder attempts…
You’re right
First me😊
Not real grace of pargali Ibrahim pasha
Yes, this Ibrahim Pasha is a different one.
Beautiful video ❤
Thank you very much ☺️
I got to play God Save the Queen on the organ one afternoon in 1971 during the Easter weekend. I was staying at the priest's house next door. That night, there was an earthquake.
Oh very unbelievable.
@@IstanbulTheQueenofCitiesI made a mistake. It was 1970. I half remember the church having battle flags from the Crimean War. I will have to go through my 35mm slides to see if my memory is correct or failing. I bought every Turkish newspaper I could find to remember the earthquake. I still have them. I did get to experience some aftershocks and it was scary.
Interesant palat ! însă pe lângă scopul administrativ al imperiului, o închisoare de maximă siguranță pt niște femei nevinovate. Sclavagism oribil!
Da ai dreptate din pacate.
Istanbul - The Queen of Cities💔
It's crazy how once prohibited for outsiders to enter is now, open for anyone around the world to enter😊..if only Sultan cud see us entering his palace and harem without his permission
Yes, you're right :)
Sultan gud?

Complicated
Istanbul - The Queen of Cities
This is a good video. The harem is a really beautiful place. But only very few had a great life here. Those few lucky who managed to became valide sultanas. The others ..... As the sultans changed so changed the concubines. Read somewhere that in most of the cases the concubines were moved to make place for the concubines of the new sultan. But was cases when the concubines were throw in Bosporus. Also cases when only the pregnant ones ended in Bosporus. Very many tragic stories around this place.
Yes, you’re unfortunately right.
@@IstanbulTheQueenofCities And all those many prince, the younger brothers. Killed when their elder one reached the throne. Forgot which one was the one, when got the thron in that very night 19 of his younger brothers all were killed. Insane! Even the inhabitants of Istanbul were revolted when saw the 19 coffins!
@@csillab3804you are talking about Sultan Ahmet who didn’t kill his brother Mustafa but locked him up in the circa kiosk then at his death when Osman Sultan was throned he killed his brother Mehmet….. The 19 coffins were from the father of Ahmet Sultan Mehmet ll who killed 19 of his brother or male who could dethrone him
This place is not beautiful
How bad is the transformation? Is Justinian’s mural even there anymore?
Tourist can’t enter the mosque inside. They have to go to the upper gallery. Sure, the mosaic of Justinian is there.
Can please you confirm that post offices are selling SIM cards to tourists? All other sources are saying that the only companies that offer SIM cards to foreigners are TurkCell and Vodafone. Thank you.
Nice place..and deliciouse balik ekmek
Concubine culture was completely Haram and against Islamic practice....if the Sultan had offspring through Halal or Legitimate practice then so much of curse and blood shed would not have happened.... being a Sunni Muslim country the Sultan went against the Shariah Law....how can u reproduce a child without Nikah from non Muslim women and u name the child Mustafa ....the most pious name....the child Mustafa either became Mentally ill, got murdered or killed .... because an illegitimate child from a Concubine cannot be named Mustafa....that child will either die or become mental ill and moreover concubine were all non Muslim so they cannot teach proper Islamic values and upbring the child as per Islamic value....Selim2 was alcoholic n womaniser .... absolute Haram way the Sultan lived.... I wonder what Justice Sultan Suleman did when he himself had concubine.... Astagfirullah
Best Guide
Thank you very much 😊
Yummy 😋
Do you need to tap when you are getting out of the bus/metro/tram?
You have to tap during getting on the bus. But not getting out.
