Gold Falcon Outdoors
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 24 ม.ค. 2020
Raw trapping, hunting, fishing videos by a retired United States Army Green Beret. I have everything from how to trap animals such as coyotes to hunting coons with Mountain Curs. I add humor to my videos. I live in the great state of South Dakota and I’m proud of my heritage. I’m dedicating my trapping experience to my late Father who was an absolute legend in the trapping community. Tight chains Dad, I miss you. We also will have a DIY remodel or new build project. We use a lot of reclaimed wood to save a tree or two. Join us in the spring as we build a raised bed garden. Should be fun.
Watch our Jack Russell Terriers play, hunt, and just be dogs.

My channel is named after the 4/325 Airborne Infantry Regiment, the Gold Falcons. These were the finest men to ever close with and kill the enemies of our country. You can contact me at dakotaranger1987@gmail.com. Let’s Go! I live outdoors!

77 grain OTM? Thinking about using my 20" for deer hunting. I think 77 grain otm at 100 and he wont go 20!
@@knightcustombuilds6988 that would be plenty. I usually shoot either a 50 or 55 grain bullet out of my 223. Im shooting my 243 this year with 80 grain bullets. Shot placement is really what matters.
Might be able to get a case of beer. Hamms
That is great beer!
Great Job! Just in time. Looks finished to me.
@@fastjimmysoutdoors5286 thanks brother. Im not setting a coon trap until November 7 or 8. I’ll set some 120 connibear boxes for skunks the first weekend of November. I averaged $20 each on them last year. Maybe set a few connibears for mink the same time.
Looks good
@@trappingwithgage thank you Gage. Stop by sometime
@@goldfalconoutdoors4325 will do

Nice job!
Looks great
@@Voorhees707 thank you much. Still a little trim work left and some odds and ends.
Great Job! Season is coming quick. Will you be ready?
@@fastjimmysoutdoors5286 I should be. I’m going to primarily target coons. I will only run a small canine line. I still have a lot to do to include catching some carp for bait.
Wow. That’s a good day’s hunt.
Looks good Rich!
@@DennisMartinson-p8m thank you old boss 👍

Good Job!
Thanks brother
Did you get it
@@Trappingwithgavyn-ug9of I did. I had to go get a taller ladder and it got dark. They are cutting down my good trees here. Gotta farm that extra 3 feet.
@@goldfalconoutdoors4325 what a shame that they had to cut the trees down
@@Trappingwithgavyn-ug9of they are disappearing in South Dakota. It’s not like we had a bunch to begin with. The natural prairie is also getting farmed with grains and row crops
@@goldfalconoutdoors4325 I get what you mean
@@goldfalconoutdoors4325 great job tho
Disgusting. You should be behind bars.
Bro a wild coyote still poses threat to livestocks 💀 No real way to say this, but you gotta do what you gotta do to protect your property.
Nice dude.....
Save Kurama
So im ok with foxes but if they ever touch my chickens the will end up like that one
We do great work!😊
@@stacysale1235 it will be epic
Did your dad say its the 28th of November? Theres no snow on the ground i wonder how thick the pelt is on that fox From what i understand living here in canada The lower 48 get mild winters Hows the foxes pelt? Thick? Cozy? Cheers
It’s the length of the day that causes fur to prime. Snow doesn’t really affect it that much.
ATW 🫵🏽
Airborne
How nice! Where'd you get your tank from and how big is it would your say? That looks like such a good comfy size to lounge in
We bought it at Runnings. It’s a farm store in the Midwest. Ours is 10 feet across
THAT GROUND IS DISGUSTING!! POOR THING IS GOING TO GET SICK WITH GOD KNOWS WHAT KIND OF DISEASES! STAPH, STREP, WORMS… OMG!!!!!!
That’s why dogs get shots. Also shows your lack of knowledge about a canine’s digestive system. You understand that a canine can eat things we can’t?
Hey! So I ’m just starting out as a trapper. I trap gophers as my specialty but, I run 10 foothold traps to mitigate gopher traps being dug. Recently I’ve trapped a couple badgers and would like to sell the fur. Honestly, I have never fleshed anything bigger than a cottontail (when I was a kid). When I skinned my most recent badger, I, instead of doing the tube style skinning, I cut him from his neck to his anus then made a “y” to its ankles. I guess what my question is, is there a market for this style skinning? And would you recommend me selling it green and to try fleshing an easier critter first or give it a shot? The fur is in good shape, I only nicked it once near the back thigh area. The eyes, ears and nose are all intact and in good shape as well.
🤣 Im sorry, I lost it when he said a big beaver🤣
Small beavers are sometimes better😂. Depends on the wood thickness
I should have said big hairy beaver
It puts the lotion on the skin, or else it gets the hose again😂
It’s a bit rough 😂
Yucky bloody stinky 😝
That is a nice blanket beaver. I always liked using nails versus hoops
I have never tried hoops. I experimented with staples and what a disaster 🤬
That's a huge beaver.
Thank you. I caught a lot of big beavers this spring
Looks like springtime in Wisconsin also.
At least the snow won’t stick

Bird hunting every year is a beautiful thing
We welcome all in SD
Disgraceful
Don’t watch than. Antis don’t phase me.
Number 53 for the year 😘
@@goldfalconoutdoors4325 it might not matter I'm not against hunting in any way but it seems like there's. A better way than drowning them . I can see now that my comment was not worded correctly I don't care if you get 153 I just think there's a better way than drowning that's all sir
I also use body grip traps which kill the animal almost instantly
@@goldfalconoutdoors4325 I wasn't aware of that sir thank you for sharing
After binging a bunch of your videos, do you sell these pelts online anywhere that i could order one or some for my dad, grandfather and myself for hats etc?
I sell to a local buyer in SD.
Where abouts is this in the US? I love watching hunting and trapping videos as Im from North Idaho on the Canadian Border. Keep it up man.
I’m in north east South Dakota. Thank you. Your state is beautiful. I love the mountains
@goldfalconoutdoors4325 South Dakota is amazing as well. I visited my grandmother many times in Clearlake SD and did a lot of fishing with my grndfather and duck/ goose hunting w him as well. He had some amazing spots. Such a beautiful place.
I used to wrestle against clear lake high school. My sister in law is from the clear lake area also. It’s a small world my friend
@goldfalconoutdoors4325 That's seriously funny man. Yeah, we used to visit there and you know it's a big deal when they get their first stop light and have a hotdog party for a week in the town to celebrate the One new stoplight being put in for a town of 670 people. Lol. It is def a small world. Take care man.
You as well
Looks like someone has some work to do.
A little 😂. Good excuse to have a few beers
😂 funny! Don't you have some skinning today do?
I had a bunch of skinning 😂
He has such a huge asshole lol
Sounds like just a breeze.
They are kind of froze in. I have around 70 on stretchers now. I need to get some beaver traps set. They are worth a little money
I set 40 floats today. Glad to be back.
Glad your back🇺🇸🇺🇸! Let’s get them fur balls
