Some must check out for the next discovery are: The Spirit - Songs Against Humanity. Fit For An Autopsy - The Nothing That Is. Ataraxie - Le Déclin.
New Swallow the Sun was such a letdown. Glad to see you enjoyed the new Funeral album though.
I was highly disappointed with the new Swallow the Sun album as a long time fan of them. However, I loved the new Ensiferum, Funeral, Schammasch, and Oranssi Pazuzu albums.
Def gonna have to check out Blasphemous
Preordered Swallow The Sun as they are one of my favourite bands and definitely disappointed, don't really connect with any of it but love the song Charcoal Sky.
Glad you trash swallow. They do swallow. Sort of a bad selection this time around compared to the bonanza of a few weeks ago. The year is limping to a close. Blasphemous looks worth checking out, though!
Swallow the sun and ensiferum I used to love . Neither I've connected with for a few releases now 😢..songs from the North seems a long way off now I will try the ensiferum though.. and funeral yeah
I smell a jew 😑
OH MY GOD HI JAMIE! I JUST MoveD MY leg in a clockwise circle and simultaneously drawED a "6" with MY hand! THIS IS AMAZING I EMAILED GIUNESS WORLD RECORDS! THEY SHOULD HOPEFULLY REPLY SOON THIS IS AMAZING!
Fantastic and unique band, don't know why I don't listen to them more
yeah they are fantastic
I think a band I'm kind of happy with just owning just a couple of albums . Dead heart obviously and I have dreaming too . Good but not great sums up the others imo.. I could try another but sooo many bands to check I think are better
Yeah a lot of Nevermore albums are good not great, but most of them are fun to listen to
@@Jamiehorsleydml none Are bad .. most are good .. Only one is great though . Imo 😂 .. I like you are ranking the bands no one else does ( that I've seen anyway ) 🥂
"I hate you, the peices and the screws, I hate everything you stand for. I hate the world we bred, the little pigs we fed, our fathers left us nothing in this damned world. " Politics of Ecstacy
Great album
I love Nevermore and I think all their albums are great. Warrel Dane is an incredible frontman who will be sorely missed and Jeff Loomis is an amazing guitarist. My ranking would be: 7. Nevermore 6. The Politics of Ecstasy 5. Dreaming Neon Black 4. Dead Heart in a Dead World 3. The Obsidian Conspiracy 2. Enemies of Reality 1. This Godless Endeavor
Nice ranking
@@Jamiehorsleydml Thanks, it was hard to rank Nevermore’s albums. They are legendary and one of my favorites.

You shouldn’t sing. You have a terrible voice.

Hey Jamie, big fan of your channel, could you rank Queensryche's discography at some point? Classic traditional heavy metal from the USA 🇺🇸🤘
Operation Mindcrime would be my number one haha
Great list Jamie awesome to see Omen Sanctuary and Riot 💯💯💯🤘🤘🤘
Cheers, love Omen, Sanctuary and Riot
Metal Of Honor 🎖
Somewhere In Time will remain hard to beat, even a 100 years from now.
@@basildog007definitely Maiden's best release by a country mile and back 🤘
Somewhere in Time best ever
people that think death metal all sounds the same dont listen to death metal. hearing it and listening to it are 2 very different things
coolio
for victory my favorite
Borrowed time what a waste of an amazing lp cover .. we were all disappointed when it came out 😢. I prefer Canterbury. Didn't dare admit it 😂
Canterbury a much better album in my opinion
Autopsy night 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yeah it's a good band
I don't think I will ever understand the hype in the Thrash comunity for Rust In Peace. I'd say Holy Wars is the only Thrash song on it. Megadeth in general barely have full on Thrash songs. Most of it is just slightly faster Diamond Head
What crack are you smoking 🤣
@@Jamiehorsleydml thrash, to me, means palm muted 16th notes over skank beats. Megadeth very rarely do that. And even the far more complex thrashers like toxik, coroner or realm do that all the time. Megadeth is just faster diamond head
Diamond Head are such an influential and incredible band, especially for their debut. Here is my ranking: 8. What’s in Your Head 7. All Will Be Revealed 6. Death and Progress 5. Canterbury 4. The Coffin Train 3. Diamond Head 2. Borrowed Time 1. Lightning to the Nations
Yeah great ranking
Power Trip also worth checking out!
yeah they are a good band as well
Instant sub from me after seeing Morbid Saint, love that you include them in your fav trash albums. Killer band and gnarly vocals!
Love Morbid Saint I agree on thew vocals
I must say, after 34 years of rock, metal and jazz, I have never heard of Diamond Head. It's possible that every time I heard "Diamond Head", my brain went "oh, King Diamond, yeah I know them"... Shame on me
You know what? I blame Machine Head
King Diamond is fantastic you should definitely change that
Editing is on top 🔝
Cheers, I try to make my videos watchable haha
Some excellent choices. Some of my personal favourites; Sacrifice - Soldiers of Misfortune Razor - Violent Restitution Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss Sepultura - Beneath the Remains Demolition Hammer - Epidemic of Violence Flotsam and Jetsam - No Place for Disgrace Protector - Urm the Mad Possessed - Seven Churches (I know a lot of people consider this a death metal album, but I’ve always thought of it as a thrash album. Regardless, it whoops ass)
Cheers man all great choices would love to see a video of your thrash metal albums of all time
My favorite thrash metal albums would be: Metallica - Ride the Lightning Megadeth - Rust in Peace Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss Testament - The New Order Artillery - By Inheritance Kreator - Coma of Souls Sodom - Agent Orange Razor - Evil Invaders Death Angel - Act III Morbid Saint - Spectrum of Death Annihilator - Never, Neverland Voivod - Killing Technology Vio-Lence - Eternal Nightmare Anthrax - Persistence of Time Exodus - Bonded by Blood Heathen - Victim of Perception Sadus - Swallowed in Black Overkill - The Years of Decay D.R.I. - Crossover Nuclear Assault - Game Over
Awesome list
My favs: Overkill - Horrorscope. Metallica- Master of puppets Megadeth- Rust in peace and countdown to extinction Kreator- Pleasure to kill Slayer Seasons in the sbyss
Nice list
It’s amazing to see Testament The Gathering. I actually love the artwork on that album.
Yeah love The Gathering don’t agree with you on the album cover haha
Rust in Peace, Ride the Lightning, Reign in Blood, Beneath the Remains and Arise, The Legacy and The New Order, Bonded by Blood, Among the Living, Slaughter in the Vatican, Time is Up. There's a few of mine, thrash metal is amazing 🤘
Awesome list
Love classic prog rock but personally, I'm not sure going as far to 70s prog as Blood Incantation did is what I need in my DM. But overall agree this album has the air of something special.
Yeah it’s a pretty good album wouldn’t say it was perfect though like others are saying
I happened to like the new Esoctrilihum. It’s a bit different than their previous albums but I still somewhat enjoyed it. I was let down by the new 1349 album. I like fast and blasty 1349, like their previous album the Infernal Pathway. This album was slow-paced and bland to me. I really like the new Maul album and thought it was a step up from Seraphic Punishment. I really liked the new Undeath album even if think their previous album is better. There was a lot of old school death metal style to this album much like previous Undeath albums. Blood Incantation’s new album though is a masterpiece. It’s my favorite Blood Incantation album and one of the best albums of the year. They took what really worked on Hidden History of the Human Race and added a lot of prog elements to it from influences of King Crimson, Pink Floyd, and Rush.
Yeah wasn’t a big fan of Esoctrilihum new album was disappointing to me, but just fantastic death metal this week
