Jan - I so appreciate the improvement is the sound. We still have the LP and love it so very much. I still get chills and choke up when I hear Salvation Is Created. Interestingsly, I was in the Chapel Choir at the time. It was 1963 rather than 1983. I graduated in 1966. Perhaps 1983 is when tou actually made the improvements in the sound? Anyway, thank you so very much. I clearly remember standing there singing and feeling my knees shake - it was so very moving!!!

This video is from 1983. I was in the Manitou Singers and this performance was recorded for PBS.

How amazing to get to be able to talk to someone who studied under the amazing Jennings, as well as the renowned St. Olaf music department. Happy Holidays!
