I wish my specialist would help me more 2 years since my last surgery and ive just been left with complications and still ko further in IVF i feel they dont want me to have children 😢 i have endometriosis and PCOS

I was put on the contraceptive pill at 16 for severe pain. My symptoms improved massively. I came off at 26 when I got married to try for a baby. I immediately developed terrible Symptoms, an ovarian cyst, had two surgeries to remove the cyst, at which time they diagnosed endometriosis. They told me if I wanted to fall pregnant to make a concerted effort then. Otherwise I may never fall. However it obviously meant no contraceptive pill. The pain was so bad without the pill. I had to be on bed rest during my periods to reduce the loss of blood etc. All my broody feelings disappeared and I couldn't face life with Symptoms so i went back on the pill. I never had kids. I stayed on the pill until i was 50 virtually symptom free. Symptoms only when i was taking a break from the pill. They refused to prescribe it to me over 50. I'd had my menopause whilst on the pill. I was symptom free due to the menopause. I'm 57 now. I don't regret not having kids. I don't regret taking the pill for 34 years. The benefits to me were immeasurable. I was lucky the pill suited me well.

At 35 I had my uterus taken out do to that. I would bleed without being able to stop it ended at ER all the time.

I would love more information on endometriosis, please. I did not know the tissue could form in your bowels.

Took from age 18-32 and so many different doctors before someone offered me anything other than birth control. One blood test and they knew that day it wasn’t endometriosis but pcos. Still have nothing but bc but at least now I can identify what’s wrong with me

My mom was diagnosed for 20 years with failed excisions, at 46 they finally agreed to remove her ovaries and uterus completely. I was so happy for her. I knew she needed it to be a person. I grew up with such a sick mom, i wanted her to feel life again.❤❤

I was diagnosed at the age of 36 with stage 4 endometriosis. I never had heavy bleeding. Just a lot of pain while on my period.

I know it was hard it made me sick

Dam my daughter is going through a similar issue too but they only gave her birth control pill
