Well presented video , direct and no fluff. Well done. I like these panels for their obvious benefits. Main thing would be cost which is the one thing that wasn't addressed in the video. Just wondering if you know if they'll be comparable to the same wattage(but bigger sized) panels that are coming from China. I have a lot of intermittent shading , mostly in winter though and am trying to avoid optimisers(maintenance nightmare IMO). Am thinking combining these panels with a Fronius or similar with a good MPPT algorithm would do the job.

I have a 12.8kW battery system and would like to double the battery storage. So looking at it, it has 4 x 3.2kW batteries. Can I just take the top hat off and is it just a matter of installing 4 more 3.2kW batteries? My system is paired with a Sungrow SH10RS-ADA 10kWh hybrid single phase inverter.

I have a sloped roof that faces east and west; in the morning, there is shade on the west, and after 12 p.m., there is shade on the east. So, if I plan 5 panels on the east and 9 panels on the west, do I need optimizers on all of them to achieve maximum efficiency or Its enough to put microinverters on the east side panels and string inverters on the west side and combine both? Another thing is - is it advisable to avoid the 5 on the east and connect all of the 9 on the west in series for higher efficiency? I'm wondering - if I have 15 microinverters on all the panels, won't it be pricey and not worth it because we usually receive sun? - If I have 15 microinverters on all of the panels, will it be expensive and ineffective because we get sun mostly on the west side and no sun on the east side after 12 p.m., so what is the point of having one on the east? - is the question? Could you please answer? I appreciate it.

Might want to qualify your statement by going through the brands and amounts you've installed to provide a solid basis for recommending Sungrow.

Right now I'm paying approximately $60 a month electricity bill.

Honestly would you recommend Sungrow 10kw hybrid inverter plus 13kw battery, Also Sungrow 30kw IDC30E for home electric car charger use . Is this a good combination? Thanks

Love the modularity of these batteries... the "dummy" unit is a clever way to downsize the system to meet QLD rebate incentives. Good work guys... I"m impressed how strong Markus was lifting those 35 kg batteries like they were bread tins :)

REC states degradation rate after first year is 2.5%; fine print states 0.75% to 5% max. My REC 370 aa degradations is 8% after 11 months in Southern California. Lies, lies , and lies.
