Leaf Green was the first pokemon game I played, although Sapphire was the first one I owned. Can't wait to play through Emerald again, although I'm taking my time and enjoying Crystal

While there's still something to be said about modern fantasy games like Baldur's Gate 3, I miss the old 90's and early 00's era of fantasy. It's a much more dirty and grim style, and I find that they tend to leave a lot more of an impression on me when I go through their stories and worlds.

On the contrary, I both met my girlfriend and got my current job through playing games like DnD. The world isn't quite so black and white like that.

Going through the game underleveled is definitely the better way to play it. I wish the newer games had chosen to add a scaling difficulty instead of just making them brain-dead easy. Or at least be unafraid to challenge the player

@Loremaster_Zaeric I 100% agree tbh the graphics are the only thing keeping new games from floping imo cause them babysitting the player can get super annoying like bro its been like 8 gens I think I can figure out what a pokeball does XD

Since it's gen 1, only ghost type moves hit ghosts for super effective damage, unfortunately

My mistake. It was the mothership core that was added in HotS, which could then be upgraded into a full mothership.

This was all 7 prime evils combined into 1 being. However, Diablo was the one at the helm.

I don't know if you're talking about Lorath, or if something happens in Vessel of Hatred, which I haven't played yet, so now you have me worried.

I always pick Hanson's mission, if only because watching the Purifier annihilate an encampment is quite the spectacle.

The Agria colonists were farmers, not soldiers. They aren't bystanders in the war only because they were caught by the Zerg invasion.

@@Loremaster_Zaeric I have pokemon gold at home but it was always more of my dad's game, so I usually just stick with Blue

There's many different ways to read the situation. Both Zeratul's prophecy and the chance to save his love likely contributed to Raynor's decision to save Kerrigan

In StarCraft 1, the attack animation looks like they are shooting acid, but in various StarCraft 2 cinematics, it shows them shooting barbed quills. When Warfield talks about having his arm chopped off, it was because of the "damned poison".

There's more Starcraft content here than Blizzard has put out in the last few years.

Yeah, the Pandaren were introduced in Warcraft 3, and then forgotten about for a decade. It's rather funny when people point that out.

Lorewise, yes. The UED is more advanced and militaristic than those in the Koprulu sector, but are represented by the same Terran faction for gameplay purposes. However, the humans in the Koprulu sector would become the more advanced humans through studying Protoss technology and Zerg biology.

The movie's story is a little different from the games. In WoW, he was possessed when he was still in the womb when Aegwynn banished Sargeras at the Tomb of Sargeras. In the movie, he came across the power of the fel when he was journeying to Draenor and then it slowly consumed him when he isolated himself in Karazhan. In both versions, Medivh is a person who wants to protect Azeroth, and it wasn't until he died that his spirit was cleansed of its corruption (hence his role in Warcraft 3)

Beyond the Dark Portal just gave me more Warcraft 2 to enjoy, so it was a 10/10 from me

It may not be much of a movie, but there's now a full compilation of the D2 series, with the cinematics. Diablo 3 will be starting at the beginning of next month.
