How can i print custom checks for customers - blank checks that they can use in their printer/accounting software?

I just tried to set up my new printer (like the one in this video for check printing)... bought it from the VersaCheck store on Amazon last week. Today I found out that the printer isn't even recognizing the VersaCheck MICR ink cartridges. So now I'm out $300 on a printer that I can't use for check printing. I also think it's ridiculous that VersaCheck wants to charge a customer to call for assistance.

We used it and it definitely holds thin magnets and smaller magnets it will not hold a phone with a magnet on it and we used 4 coats

Is there supposed to be a texture underneath it or how do i make it smooth?

I’ve had two different Versacheck software programs over the past twenty years. This software is the worst I’ve ever seen. All I want to do is create the check with my bank info on it. After I do my writing of the check on my QuickBooks program. Any tutorials that I can find in the Versacheck program say they are unsupported when I click on them. This whole software sucks and the idiots that produced it are assholes.

This company needs to be shut down completely. They are the worst by far.

some how to videos would help. Help tells me to go to Check Line Properties but nothing tell me where it is. Wasted money on this software.

These printers are trash. They may be HP printers but they are not OEM. Getting connected is a pain. Called their technical support, had them walk me through "their process" and at the end the agent basically hung up in frustration. I'm no savant when it comes to printers but I know how to connect one to both wifi and through ethernet. This unit, however, doesn't seem to function no matter what. Very upset and will be returning the unit TODAY.

Is this a laser printer?

Could this be one of the best options to choose from?

I wish someone would post directions on how to do this. I cant get it to work either.

I came to this video for more explanation about proper mixing et cetera you guys should give more detail. For example it should be mixed with a drill and a mixer attachment if I understand

Based on the numerous one-star amazon reviews this is false advertising and thus theft of customers' money. Apparently it barely holds a small magnet with nothing between the magnet and the wall. The reviews saved me from disappointment, wasted effort, and loss of my funds in this economy. Shame on the company! Have you no pride and honour?

I have LITERALLY SPENT 6 HOURS trying to setup my accounts and start using the printer to print checks and I STILL CAN'T!!!! This program SUCKS!!!! ALL I wanted to do was to print blank checks, NOT anything else!!!!

And need professional response when printing with MICR-TONER with a laser printer can I print a full image with MICR... meaning not cheque’s but different pictures , like full picture images. I purchased my VersaCheck yesterday. I tried to print checks. It kept sending me to different windows and giving me error notifications. The instructions seems very convoluted. I don't think this is a user friendly program. There is a fee to speak to a live person! This is very frustrating!
