Chestnut is a popular autumn seasonal flavor in Japan. I went to just went to Japan for the first time in November and I was really looking forward to getting everything chestnut because it's one of my favorites but not so popular or easy to find in the US. But even though I kept ordering progressively smaller meals, I never had enough room to try chestnut flavor snacks. It's one of my disappointments of that trip (which was generally pretty amazing).
