The way I usually see it is that Blitzø’s first love was Fizz and because of what he did in the past, he “ruined” the life of the first person he ever loved, making Fizz leave him, so now it seems like he tries not to rely on feeling so nobody in the relationship gets hurt (which obviously backfires)

Idk to me in that part of the song with the mirrors when he says "maybe I came on too strong, Maybe I read this all wrong" is him realizing or acknowledging that the way he treated Blitz at the beginning was wrong but then he is drunk the only time Blitz is trying to be honest with him. Idk I love them and but idk if they should REALLY be together after all this but I also want them to work 😔

listening to Stolas' rock ballad in the latest episode, as well as all the others that gave us an insight of his thoughts over his situationship with Blitzø makes you realize he actually started to notice how his sexual advances were really w r o n g like idk if its me, if im the only one noticing it, but this song (the rock ballad) it almost sounds he's chastising himself over how he started the deal and his actions towards Blitzø rather than singing his "hatred" towards him idk, it's probably just me though Stolas is usually naive when it comes to how people feel because he escapes his reality a lot (coping mechanism we've seen he's had since childhood because of his father [ex:books]), this song almost sounds like he's thinking back to how he acted and he's ashamed of it he's no where close to figuring out how badly he was obviously but he's getting an inkling of how he acted at least

I love this and how it shows more of how blitz felt, I would love for a part 2 that dives deeper into how blitz was treated in earlier episodes and how he was valid for thinking of how he was treated as a butler. Sorry if I'm asking or ranting for too much. 👍

Now I realize that in the first chapters Stolas always called him for sexual things and Bliz doesn't think he loves him for that and also always calls him imp which reminds him of the difference in status, and now Stolas gets upset with him when he never I had mentioned it before Full Moon. At least we know that he knows now. and I don't know if he has taken happy pill or not, but I think he stopped taking it. React to Stolas is a hypocrite

Im defending them both because blitzo only thought it was a role play because he doesn’t believe anyone can love him and he is to scared to admit his feelings and stolas was always calling him for sexual reasons making blitzo believe it was only about sex and as I do feel bad for both and I’m defending them both I support blitz more

Honestly season 2 episode 8-9 crushed me

i feel so bad for both of them, because technically no new information about their relationship was revealed in their talk. Stolas ignored the red flags that blitz wasn't ready, and blitz ignored all the green flags like Stolas' calls and asking about his day thinking they were fake, this episode was just slamming in both of their faces that they need time to communicate.

Blitz talks about his fear of abandonment and Stolas talks about how he doesn’t feel loved. Then they either stay friends or get into an actual relationship

I kinda feel bad for blitz aswel we all know blitz didn’t expect anyone to love him as we saw a few episodes back when he said that he tought he would die alone so the confession stolas made he tought it was a joke and then stolas wel i mean there is multiple reasons to feel bad for stolas in that scene honestly

They both made mistakes but in my opinion what they needed was a calm discussion among themselves. Stolas was so nervous that he rushed everything and didn't really give blitzo enough time to process what was going on since Blitz has never been loved so its obvious for him to not understand how to love OR how to BE loved (like seriously his father didn't love him nor did his sister, fizz hated him for a long time and obviously Loona isn't any help)( stolas also never recieved love but still his daughter loved him after some time she got distant)😭😭😭😭😭😭

i relate to both stolas and blitzø alot, and i personally think that their both at fault and the victims. i can not stand anyone villainising one or the other. previous relationships and experiences have shaped them and their responses. when stolas expressed his feelings i do not believe he expected a response immediately. he was simply hurt by how quickly blitzø turned it into a sexual thing, and when blitzø said, "i love you" in that context, i cant imagine how much that would hurt. (its unlikely he has ever heard a genuine "i love you".) stolas is now alone, octavia taking her mothers side, and it seems as if stella has taken a lot from the palace. stolas has no self esteem, all he has, in his eyes, is his title and body. *blitzø* has a very clear and documented history of shitty relationships, you can see how desperate he was to hold onto stolas because even if it was just sex he liked feeling 'needed'. when faced with what he thought was stolas no longer needing him, he lashed out. (i have rejection sensitivity dysphoria, and one of the ways i can react to real or perceived rejection is with 'anger' which is really just poor,y disguised hurt and fear.) *stolas* tried to leave, clearly not wanting to be hurt anymore, (i assume this behaviour was picked up during his years with stella. he was attempting to de-escalate the situation, however this looked more like abandonment to blitzø) *blitzø* wanted to talk, due to the high tension his words weren't careful, likely letting everything hes been feeling bubble over. he feels overwhelmed. _both_ projected their insecurities onto the other. *blitzø* felt as though stolas saw him as less, that he was nothing more than someone to use and discard. (his belief that stolas only wanted him for sex could be substantiated, stolas calling him a 'play-thing' and seemed to continuously disregarding his feelings/sentiments) *stolas* thought blitzø saw him as simply a obligation, someone he had to interact with in order to get what was needed. (his belief could also be substantiated with how blitzø would take the book and leave, with how he often complained.) honestly, i wouldn't of expected anything more or less of this pair. they aren't toxic, and i wouldn't necessarily say they're unhealthy but both have significant trauma that needs to be worked through (communication would definitely help as well)

I don’t hate or like either of them less after this episode I know they had a fight… but put it this way, first they have totally 2 different options of their relationship.. and second blitz was started by how stolas responded to him and blitz felt like he wasn’t needed anymore and got put to the side again… people really need to realize that about blitz before hating him.

I’m going to go into a long rant right now so apologizes but it’s just so annoying I have to go into this. It’s so easy for people to be on the Blitz hate train and “the poor owl boy did everything right”. But like, once Blitz realized the confession was serious, Stolas shut down any attempts at continuing the conversation from Blitz. Blitz, the guy who runs at the idea of confronting feelings, FOLLOWED Stolas as he walked away and basically told him at the end to turn around, stop trying to dismiss him, and talk to him. He said it incredibly poorly but as he said, this came out of nowhere for him and he didn’t have rehearsed lines to share or sat down to dissect his own emotions like Stolas probably did. He used his default response which is anger. He started the conversation on edge because he thought he was losing his and his employees’ livelihood. Then he thought he was being thrown away and his first instinct was to say “I can do better”. Man was clearly not in a great mindset at the beginning of the conversation and then when he realized what was happening, his attempts to talk more were being shut down. And being critiqued for making everything about sex by the guy who booty called him on the daily and even trips like Loo Loo Land, which he thought was going to be about body guarding, lead to Stolas just ogling him and letting himself get in trouble just so Blitz would pay attention to him. Hypocrisy like that probably also made him feel annoyed. Man had one misperception of the situation and probably felt it wasn’t fair to be told “no you gave your answer, you don’t need to say anything else” when Blitz simply didn’t understand the situation. Yeah he shouldn’t have mocked it and escalated it later on but Stolas wasn’t exactly perfect with his execution and how he received responses either. Can’t blame the majority of the fandom seeing Stolas as a complete victim and as someone who should be protected at all costs because that’s how the show has been making him out to be. But he’s very much capable of making mistakes. Just like how because Blitz is shown through his shortcomings the majority of the time, people forget that he can also be justified too. And when they put Stolas and Blitz together like that, it’s easy to be like “oh poor owl baby. Let’s kill Blitz for making him cry.”
