@ ok. I just seen that deal Lowe’s had on it and need your feedback before I pull the trigger
@ true that!
Batteries are very expensive tho
Pretty much every brands batteries are expensive af lately. The best bung for buck batteries right now would be the Hercules batteries
That’s a fact not an opinion

Dewalt?
@@chandlerh the Dewalt 1007 is pretty damn strong in this test

Dewalt 1007 and Flex both go over 50 foot lbs of torque Milwaukee is garbage
@@MrBostonBilly I’ve had the Bosch, Metabo, Dewalt and Flex all over 50 ft lbs. Milwaukee isn’t garbage in that aspect though. Any drill that gets over 40 ft lbs is gonna be able to do most tasks without a problem
Ive had great luck with ridgid. Always best to by the top of of the line right of the bat. Or when you can. Reliable tools smooth 🔋 life. Powerful
I love my kolbalt tools. Dont use them religiously but when i need them, they get shit done😂1/2 impact, 7 1/4 skill saw, 24volt leaf blower, heat gun, hammer drill,1/4 inch impact, 3gal shop vac. I got 4x 4ah bateries and 1x 8ah battery
@@treyandstang3824 they can get the job done for sure, I just remember when this set first came out, they seemed so much more powerful.
Now this is what I’m talking about!! I feel like if the ridgid kept digging like the Milwaukee does it would probably get a little closer to these numbers on the Milwaukee.
@@kodyrussell1623 definitely, these tests can vary quite a bit so I like to do them multiple times.
When I tried the Ridgid against the gen 4 Milwaukee, in a drilling test, the Milwaukee cut out a few times. The Ridgid plowed right through the wood, though.
Love the content though bro keep on keepin on!
Pretty solid driver. Definitely enough speed, thats the only impressive thing about it though
Seemed pretty powerful to me. What’s more powerful, 1007, flex?
@@brianbz95 it absolutely is powerful but flex, 1007, the Bosch and Metabo are stronger as well

Well if i remember right kaleb is a senior maintenance tech at some warehouse facility that has conveyors that need fixed all the time. Looking forward to 2nd gen Flex and 5th gen Milwaukee
If there are next generations then milwaukee needs to focus on better quality in tool and especially battery quality and I'd like to see Flex get its weight down...maybe go on the atkins diet or something.

Have the KIT FROM Year Half AGO when you have the 8 AMP EXP BATTERY and the 4 AMP EXP TABLESS CELLS BATTERY its a real nice Tool Set and when they come out with a 6 AMP EXP TABLESS CELLS BATTERY and use the GEN 4 Milwaukee M18 fuel Drill MOTOR Because Milwaukee Will be coming out with the GEN 5 Next FALL because the gen 4 was out in Late summer of 2022
I have both guns. The compact 1/2” is gutless obviously. I was expecting more
enough people call it a DIY brand you tend to believe it. Pro-sumer is never a term I use until now. I'd put Ridgid right at the Hercules level. The only downside is Hercules is in-store warranty which would be cool if ridgid approves a replacement after receiving my broken tool, i could go to HD and grab one off the shelf instead of the wait. Harbor Freight is making moves
@@TOOL_TECHNICAL yep, the Hercules warranty is very impressive because of that. Usually when you need you’re tools, you need them now
@@Kaleb_RoSs yeah Ridgid has the service direct program (I did a video on it) but it's basically an addition to the LSA that says they'll have you back to work within 14 days. They did take more than 14 days with me so it's not a perfect system but still solid as most mechanics would be dumb to not have more than one impact wrench or cordless ratchet. same with any worker having multiple drills, saws etc.
Harbor freight is coming a long on more than just Hercules. Those little braun magnet lights are awsome!
@@unclefester4626 Even bauer! I'm still kinda salty they dropped an impact driver that looks like the gen 4 milwaukee (hercules has one too), but ridgid still doesn't have the tri-light flat face design for their impact wrenches and drivers. I want that design so much in orange for the standard and subcompact 1/2" impacts
Not a pass thru. I pass
U had it in on number one.
@@gco2070 ? Dewalt was in speed 3 and Hercules was in speed 2
A perfect example of not using the right tool for the task. I know you were just testing this for all of us to see, but there are many guys out there that push their smaller tools to the limit all the time. For the few tools that have Lifetime Warranties on their tools, hey...go for it. But for the others that don't, just use the right tool and this won't happen. I hate seeing good tools die an early death because of misuse. Every single tool out there has a limit. And if you push anything past it's limit to often, it's going to fail. Unfortunately many don't know what those limits are. But after throwing their money away enough times, they learn...hopefully! Lol Great video!
@@El_Diablo_LI absolutely agree with that.
Collet wobble on an impact is necessary from what I've always understood. Allows the bit to stay on the fastener while the tool shifts and moves from impacts and operator movements. Every one of my impacts from flex to Dewalt wobble. Chuck wobble is a problem though But yes... ridgid is pro level 100%. People think just because tti manufacturers them they are lesser than Milwaukee in quality. Not true is any sense. Emerson still dictates the tools TTI manufactures for them. The tools are clearly professional contractor grade
Correct
Bro got all the attachments 😂
@KaiSimo gotta have em all🤣
...but lets do it anyway. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
KALEB!!!!!! Impressive Video and like the two camera set up! Good looking and performing impact no doubt. I believe most all impacts will have some degree of collet wobble. It actually comes down to the inertia of the bit that cause it. Put a hex shank drill bit in a collet, and then run it in reverse on a test surface, and it should smooth out, and then You know the collet is Ok. Liked the ending. 👍🤝😀
it's 9:12 PM... as kids we had someone read a giant book with few words and big pictures. Now as an adult I have a kaleb casually reading tool specs off a giant case sleeve 🤣 where does the time go... also that ending is so accurate! the amount of deleted storms of me cursing at myself for not speaking clearly or stuttering LOL

All 3 of those drills are a good choice for many and should hold up during even the toughest tasks as long as you don't abuse them too bad. My choice of the 3 is the Ridgid simply because of the great LSA for not only the tools, but also the batteries. Plus I feel like Ridgid has the largest tool line beyond the basic 4 or 5 most commonly used tools of the bunch, although Kobalt has a pretty impressive lineup as well.
Dam dude that is a insanely strong drill
Kobalt with Milwaukee bits 😂😂
Gotta love Ridgid

Ridgid has so much left in it. It’s almost like they cut it out purposely
@@kodyrussell1623 pretty consistent at that 37 ft lbs range.
I’m talking about ridgid. I feel like the motor protection comes in a little too early . Mine feels like it could dig a little more like my Milwaukee does.
@ you’re probably right, Ridgid feels pretty smooth the whole time and doesn’t get nearly as aggressive.
What about a milwaukee drill 3rd gen now is cheaper and ultra compact i been see 130buks

@@TOOL_TECHNICAL lmao, very true
Hi do a test on the new hyper tough brushless impact driver/ brushless hammer drill then tell me what you think 🤔.
RIDGID Rocks!!! Kaleb !!
Can't really argue against Ridgid or Hercules being a great value brand. I'd give a slight edge to Ridgid due to the LSA, anti-kickback and auxiliary handle design. By the way, last year was the best time to buy the Ridgid. The combo, that includes the 4 mode impact driver only cost me $180 with the BOGO hack.
I was able to get that same combo at the end of January 2024 for about $137 with the hack. Home Depots everywhere had lots of them remaining after Christmas so they dropped the price of the combo kits down to around $300 but you still got 2 free tools with that lower price. So after picking it up with the 2 free tools (I had selected the blower and one of the other higher priced options) and then returned the 2 free tools, that kit only cost me around $137. So far, it's holding up well after using it often in 2024. Unfortunately I haven't really seen too many great deal opportunities this Black Friday season but we'll see what happens in late January 2025 when both Lowe's and Home Depot try to clear out all their left over Christmas/Q4 inventory. 🤞
@@El_Diablo_LI TTI doesn't really have great deals this year. Dewalt seems to be winning the Black Friday game this year. TBH, my Home Depot has a lot of the DCD999/DCF887 combos left. The tool department guy told me they have to get rid of them because the DCD1007 and DCF860 have replaced them on the shelves. I'm waiting to see how far the price drops on that combo. I don't need it, because I already have the Ridgid combo, but I'm sort of addicted to good deals on drills and impact drivers. 🤷♂🤣🤣☠
@@El_Diablo_LI I wish I had seen it at a reduced price. I probably could have gotten the price difference refunded.
Wow. That's powerful and impressive running on a 2.5.
What a nice clean cut.
