Unbelievable these atrocities are happening in this day and age and the nerve of Israelis to continue with the victim card.

HUGELY difficult to hear 😢 I gave away my Antique European, Silver Judaica during HANUKKAH of 2023 to a Jewish friend. He was surprised 😮 but said nothing. He knew I no longer wanted to be Jewish.

stunningly good conversation and I loved the depth which is not something we usually get when lots of questions are compressed into an hour and Matt has so much information, but also points out when he doesn't know something which is really helpful too.

If you're unwilling to address the Zionist influence in finance Kennard, such as in Bloomberg and the Financial Times (that you worked for), then you're just copping out.

Why does the Israel-Palestine conflict surpass all others?..There is no other example of a post war European project erasing a Non European country from existence with massive Western support in a region of huge strategic importance and religious symbolism..This injustice vs the demand for a Jewish State whose people had undergone an industrial genocide has always invested this conflict with dimensions not true of any other conflict in the world...

Syria would not have held together with some pacifist Muslim leader. Muslims have hijacked the issue which was Syrian sovereignty all along. They believed the lies of Al Jazeera and caused so much trouble because they couldn't be bothered to educate themselves. Assange released the truth about the civil war and still Muslims won't look at it, preferring petty sectarianism instead

What was so rational about what he just said. Asad bad, Assad torturing, murdering, raping, starving, robbing the Syrians AND the Palestinians (Yarmouk!) on a massive scale, but he better had stayed in power, because the West is apparently backing the Syrian liberation and Hizb Shaytan, who raped, murdered, tortured, expulsed Syrians no longer getting weapons from Iran who directly helped Assad do all those things to the Syrian people? What a cruel cynical white supremacist way of dehumanising the Syrians. No matter what you imagine of yourselves, you're exactly like the Zionists and their friends and allies.

My family was also displaced in 1948 from a village nearby Nazareth. It is an ongoing Traumata for us. The sons of my aunt got shot while they were little children! Almost every friend of my parents got murdered later by the IOF when they invaded Libanon. Parts of my family are still living in refugee camps. The zionists destroyed almost our whole village, and inside the few houses they had left are living now zionists from Hungary! We will never forget or forgive and we will return one day to break down the legacy of Europe called Zionism established on our blood.

I am a 73 year old man and I have spent the better part of my life trying to understand why I seem to always feel a certain sadness in my heart. Then I thought, maybe this had something to do with it. Hopefully this story brings out others like me. In 1963 Zionists came to my home in Casablanca Morocco, to convince my parents to send me and my little sister to Israel without them. I was 12 and my sister 9 when we started our miserable journey to the "Promised land". It destroyed our family and left me and my sister with long lasting scars neither one of us has been able to heal. Being from Morocco made it even more difficult to live in a more racist country than Morocco ever was. We had a very peaceful life as Jews living amongst Muslims in Morocco. We understood each other and helped each other. To this day, the principal advisor to King Mohamed is a Jew. But the Zionists needed boddies to fill Israel and slowly claim more and more land from the Palestinians they kept displacing. The people running Israel are not Jews. True Jews would have helped the Palestinians evolve and share in their fortunes, like we did for centuries in the Arab world. Israel claims it is defending itself? Against whom? The people they have been displacing and opressing for 80 years? Israel, my advice to you, if you want to survive, get rid of the religious zealots who run your government and join the 21st century.

Matt is brilliant. Israel didn't start destroying Syria's military until the coast was clear ie Assad was toppled and Russia and Iran weren't required by him. That said it wasn't uncommon for Israel to randomly bomb Damascus before the fall. They were testing the water for Isis & Al Qaida to go in for Erdogan. Matt is right, you can't fool anyone with half a brain that anyone in the West, or backed by the West is really interested in the people of Syria.
