My accident story. It was March 13, 2024. I went to Rowangchari in the morning for an important work in one of my brother-in-laws' three-wheeler. With us were also my elder brother, middle sister, and younger brother-in-law. After completing the work at Rowangchari, we came to Bandarban. Sister and the two in-laws will go back to Baghmara Bazaar. And brother and I will go to our respective destinations through Bangalhali. The time was around 12 noon. It was very hot. We were also quite tired and hungry in the heat. Sister suggested everyone to have tea and snacks together, then drop us in a Bangalhali going taxi. Then suddenly a three-wheeler driver called out, "Bangalhali, Bangalhali, only two more". Then I said, "I have tuition in the afternoon. So I have to go early. When elder brother and I reach Bangalhali, we will eat rice in a good hotel there." So elder brother and I got into that three-wheeler and it left immediately. Elder brother was on the left side of the driver and I was on the right side. I was feeling tired and sleepy in the intense heat. With drowsy eyes I thought, "Lord, all troubles will be over once we somehow safely arrive at Bangalhali." But alas, on the halfway to reach Bangalhali, a little before reaching Dolu Para, another three-wheeler heading from Bangalhali to Bandarban, collided head-on with our three-wheeler at a hilly U-turn. And then an instant doom. In my sleep I heard a loud sound like thundering. And instantly, in my eyes, floated a flash of white light, and a feeling of peaceful relief and comfort, that I read as "Near Death Experience". When I regained consciousness I saw that the three-wheeler had overturned and I was under it and my elder brother was sitting on the grass at a little distance away with his hands on his head and some others around him. A policeman was walking on the other side of the street. When I tried to drag myself to escape, I saw that my knee was broken and my leg was hanging in two pieces and bleeding. Nearby, a three-wheeler driver was picking up the injured. The three-wheeler driver took us to Bandarban Hospital. After the "Near Death Experience", this might also be my second life.
