      Under global settings you can adjust screen margin heigh and screen margin width. Also, make sure your host PC running Sunshine is also set to 4k. Sunshine has capability to pass parameters for client res if you would like to change resolution on the fly when connecting to devices that have higher resolutions (or lower). You can use a 3rd party app like qres to change the res using these parameters. in the global settings (or per application shortcut): do: cmd /C C:\apps\qres\qres.exe /x:%SUNSHINE_CLIENT_WIDTH% /y:%SUNSHINE_CLIENT_HEIGHT% /r:%SUNSHINE_CLIENT_FPS% undo: cmd /C C:\apps\qres\qres.exe /x:res /y:res /r:refresh example: cmd /C C:\apps\qres\qres.exe /x:1920 /y:1080 /r:60

      While the client is set to 4k @ 120 (anything less causes the image to be stretched) it is upscaling 1080p. It looks good and plays well. I'm going to be honest I have never been able to get 4k to stream without performance loss on my 1GB wired network (PC to PC). I am not sure how those who report they are successful are able to.

      Im not sure if this is helpful but I have a mini pc downstairs (instead if an xbox) connected by ethernet to an ASUS zenwifi mesh router, this is wirelessly connected to another ASUS zenwifi mesh router at the total opposite side of the house upstairs and connected by ethernet to my computer. I can stream at the full 150mpbs 4k 120hz hdr this way without any noticeable delay. The ASUS routers are pricey at around £700 for the two, but they provide a wireless experience just as suitable as ethernet. The computer can download at around 700Mbps so there's plenty of bandwidth left unlike the previous powerline setup I had

      It has updated a few times over the past few months, and I have seen improvement with latency. I wouldn't play twitch-based games requiring fine input but for general gaming it's surprisingly good. I have been playing Diablo 4 from my PC streaming to my XBOX daily.

    • @tessjdt
      @tessjdt 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey DKTronics! It's branded as a 19 inch TV, but in reality it's 18 inches diagonal. It's pretty much bezelless. I had to create my own mount. To be honest I am considering putting back in the original 17 inch display that it came with.

    • @tessjdt
      @tessjdt 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I ended up putting back in the original display. I love the mod, but the games I play are more suited for 5:4/4:3 instead of 16:9. I just ordered a Dell 19" 5:3 monitor, so another mod coming! I'll update with a new video. I also did a new control deck and other upgrades :D

    • @tessjdt

      I used the existing mounts that are there to hold the sides together with the front and placed a board over it.

      At 11:25 in my video you can see a brace going on the back. You don't have that in your machine? One on the back and one on the front right below the control panel? I used that brace and just put a sheet of ply wood to make a shelf.

    question, are you using those zero delay encoders pcb for the controls, if so how did you manage to get them to work with the odroid, when i tried it, the controls never responded, searched online for an answer and got nothing regarding that issue, got an odroid specifically to play the naomi games since the pi isnt able to, i just want to play mvc2 on this cab lol

    • @tessjdt
      @tessjdt 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep! I had no problems with them. I am even using some HAP devices as well on the zero delay boards with no issues. The only problem I have is with my 8bitdo and Odroid not wanting to acknowledge the two analog triggers bluetooth or wired. It also doesn't seem to work with my xbox 1 controller either. I am not using a predefined image. Instead i downloaded RetroArena and built my own.

    I have the same 25 cent buttons and had issues in the beginning with the lighting. I figured it out. So I splice up a USB charger. use the red and black and bind it with regular arcade button wires. I connected them easy to the metal sides clips + & - Yet they wasnt lighting up, so I swap the led to a 5v bulb, which you can get in auto zone. The LEDs that comes with are 12v, the USB power is 4 to 5v. I hope that help a little. Note: the lighting wont be as bright as the 12v led would be, but they look more orginal as the arcade machines look.

    Bro cool vid!!! I have zero clue about emulation with Pi or Pandora's box or mame. What device do I need to get to get all games from the old game consoles Atari to PS1 to nowadays SF5 or marvel vs capcom 3??? I would like to build one of these with 4 players, trackball, a pair of guns & 2 detachable steering wheels for my daughters, nieces & nephews. The wiring & cabinet build my father & father in law can figure out as electricians & engineers but the computer side of things we are clueless!!! I'm comfortable with blowing on a cartridge and using a 2 button controller LOL, so this all alien to me!!!

    • @tessjdt
      @tessjdt 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Easiest would be going with the Pandora's box since it comes with all you need software wise.Then your choice is to buy one of these and "mod it" or build your own. With Pandora's you can get the one with the controls and build a machine around the control deck. There is vids that show you how to add Pandora's box to an A1Up and I think you can even use the original controls of the A1Up using the Jamma board. th-cam.com/video/cl_58GQcQB4/w-d-xo.html
