เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 18 ก.ย. 2013
Crawford Productions was born in Melbourne Australia in 1945 when Hector Crawford and his sister Dorothy set up the company which would produce radio serials, then later, quality television programs. At its peak, the company employed over 450 full time staff as well as hundreds of freelance writers, film crew personnel, actors and performers.
A great company needs to be remembered and hopefully, this channel will help do that.

Bluey - theme music and slide show
มุมมอง 2232 หลายเดือนก่อน
When "Bluey" was in its infancy a music theme was required. A new KPM music library album was recently released and a track called "New Horizons" by accomplished British composer Brian Bennett was selected as the theme. Unfortunately by the time Bluey went to air the Nine Network Australia had also chosen New Horizons for its theme for World Series Cricket. Both went to air virtually at the sam...

He packed it away when Grundy's pilot wasn't commissioned. When Crawfords called and said they were looking for a theme for a new series called "The Sullivans" Geoff resurrected "Reflections" and it worked pe...
Solo One (An Australian tv Series) theme - with slide show
มุมมอง 3202 หลายเดือนก่อน
As a spin off from Matlock Police, Crawfords decided that an original theme would give Solo One a distinct feel. Tasked with the project was musician and composer Mike Brady who wrote the catchy theme song. Mike, along with popular Melbourne arranger Peter Sullivan, also produced an original library of incidental music to be used throughout the series. Vocals on the theme opening and closing we...

Harry's "Crawfords in the 70's" part 2
มุมมอง 5312 ปีที่แล้ว
Harry Brett was a projectionist at Crawford Productions in the 1970's to 1980's. Harry's passion was film, so it was no surprise that he shot a "home movie" to record his time at Crawfords. It can be corny in places but Harry set out to show how big the company was and how people went about their work, and from that point of view, it works. Harry passed away in 2000, but his legacy remains. Thi...

My all time favorite tv theme.
Actually Gerard Kennedy played the bad guy in an Australian Spy show, Hunter. George Hamilton, who played a uniform cop on Division 4 was a friend of the family. A great person.
where are the videos? 🙏
I remember outdoor scenes sounded more realistic as many American shows were shot in a studio. The police car just had a siren on it, they were not allowed to display blue lights or insignia. I loved how they all wore hats. Imagine climbing a cliff wearing a hat.
They should put it back on tv better than the crap we have to endure now days
Didn't see Leonard Teale, Norman Yemm, George Malaby or Terence Donovan? Maybe they have sadly passed away?
Sadly Len Teale passed 14.05.94 and Norman Yemm passed 03.02.2015. George Mallaby passed away 12.07.2004. Terry Donovan appears briefly at approx. 2.00 mins. Terry can be seen in the Division 4 reunion video on this channel.
@@crawfordsTV Thank you for the information, very sad to hear they have passed on.
Gerard Kennedy played the crook in Homicide, and I think he also appeared on Skippy as a bad guy too, he is more suited to the "bad guy" roles. Thanks Crawford Productions for giving us so much great entertainment.
Goes back all those years. I can remember how big this show was when i was a kid. The theme just brings it all back
Never heard of this series before, I was born and raised in the 1950’s at Brentwood Essex in the UK.
When watching TV was a big part of life
That music sends shivers all over me. Even better with the closing credits, lasting for a coupla' minutes. Dad used to leave car out front on street, with keys in the ignition and house unlocked at night. Great days.
Division 4 was another good cop show
We all used to watch this, and discect the episode the next day in school
Best series to ever come out of Australia ❤❤
Great Australian Drama! And other than Adam-12, the first Cop show I remember as a kid.
We grew up with homicide matlock division4 cop shop. We watched it as a family. I never thought i would see and hear this again. Cant purchase these little gems. Sèms strange to be watching this on new technologically. Im the old one now. Thankyou, thankyou very much.
Thanks Odette, they were good to watch and fun to work on. They are available on DVD from crawfordsdvd.com.au but a little expensive.
@@crawfordsTV a LITTLE expensive 🤣😂🤣
Solo One to VKC Matlock, Shirl
Many years ago I was talking to a stranger in a waiting room we talked about cop shows I said bluey is my favourite guy said why because I really like Lucky grills he made a call on his mobile he said I have a huge fan of yours I'll give him my mobile it was certainly lucky grills voice few weeks later I got a signed photo posted to me you wouldn't get star's doing that today There to precious 👎rip mr grills 🕯️🙏 thank you 🤠🐨🦘
I’m side went for 1964 to 1977 not 1976. Would you put in is incorrect? I suggest you change it as I am a big fan of homicide and got the whole series on DVD.
The years on the episode slide are the dates it was in production, not on air.
I remember watching this when it came out it looks even better now
Whatever happened to Patricia Smith? Why did she leave the show and what did she do afterwards? There is no info online
Not sure why Pat Smith left the series, however I believe she went into Real Estate and was happy being out of show biz and enjoying life in Adelaide S.A.
Thanks Garry
What a banger!
These shows should be offered via a streaming service.
I like these Crawford Theme Music pieces Garry..please keep it up...
Thanks Tony. Appreciate it
Brian Bennett drummer of The Shadows since 1960.
Yes Richard, a talented man and very prolific in library music writing.
*Grace Sullivan was very upset about what her offspring were to become. She made sure to haunt this series until it was cancelled*
*never* *mistake* *a* *theatre* *for* *a* *theatrette*
My mother loved the Sullivans, every day when I came home from school this would be on (felt like every day) and that theme tune still haunts me 😂 There was another Aussie soap that became popular among my teenage peer group as we used to find it hilarious but I’ll be damned if I can remember what it was called , hospital drama and a purple bar I think called Bunnies 😅 oh dear my memory has let me down.
Was it Young Doctors..or something like that 😊
@@coralbitten2315 ...Definitely the Young Doctors...
Can we have all the crawfords production put on 7+ or next flicks
00:37 - I remember the scenes filmed in Sydney with Kitty and Grace!
Brings back memories, loved these shows
Peter Sullivan was a year behind me at both Beaumaris State and Beaumaris High schools. We also learnt the piano from the same teacher.
I finally got to Melbourne in 2023 (from 🇨🇦) after being a long distance fan for decades and took a pic outside the former Police HQ. I enjoy the Crawfords DVDs so much, Homicide, Division 4, Matlock Police, Bluey, Spyforce & my favorite Ryan! The last two were on late night TV in the mid Seventies in 🇨🇦
Thank you for your nice words and as one who worked on all those shows (except Spyforce which wasn't a Crawford series) I can tell you that we all had a ball producing them. So glad that you enjoy them all these years later. Regards, Garry.
Memories from 475 Collins Street.
A superb theme. We would love to see more Hunter DVD releases!
Great memories ,Garry. We were so young. Thanks for uploading.
Yes Richard, I remember being young. Ah, the memories.
Some "old" faces I recognized.
The late great Michael Pate. He was really our first greatest movie and TV export of the 50/60’s from Hondo and McLintock opposite John Wayne to Zorro then to Batman Rawhide with Clint to 77 Sunset strip and Time Tunnel Daniel Boone Get smart Rawhide and many many more not to mention Houdini opp Tony Curtis.

Belinda Giblin was a babe back in the day.
Saw Leonard as a child reciting Banjo Patterson, was only a few metres away when he died on the lower north shore in 1994 .RIP.
Terrence was nice and pissed 😅or was he acting??😊
The duet by Maurie and Johnny is super special.
I remember uncle doug (MMM Sydney) impersonating Leonard teale, but in would come the real Leonard teale saying,, this is Leonard teale, the real Leonard teale, just popping into MMM to bust Doug Mulray, take him down to forensics Jack, and take away his medication
I was too young when this aired im a cop Shop generation 🤠🐨🦘 when the Guy says this is a hold up why didn't someone say yeah your right their 😂😂😂😂 cheers Stephen from QLD 🤠⭐🐨🦘
Leonard Teale was a favourite of mine. The saddest episode was the last Norman Yemm episode, . (I wish the dvds were not so expensive.)
This was a classic show .Never have shows like this again.I was 5 year old back in1964 and remember the first episode.
0:06- Elvis and Frank Thring double-billed, I wish I was there. Frank Thring, Jay Robinson, they don't make villains like them anymore, the go- to guys for sociopathic inbred rulers. ☺
