I sold my Roni 2 weeks ago. I got nearly a thousand rounds through it and could not tell any damage on either the pistol or the Roni. The pistol does get very dirty on the front part of the slide after shooting it caused by the smoke of the powder burning.

It all depends. What would your main purpose be for buying this? If you have a couple Glock 19/17 around and no AR type platform firearm but would like to get an experience close to that then yes. But it is by no means a perfect shooting platform. Its great for plinking and lots of fun to shoot. If you have an AR9 or AR15 already then my answer would be no. The downside for me for this specific Roni is i cannot suppress it. As far as i know there is other models that is build for that purpose. I got myself a nice red dot for it and i love shooting it on my range to have some fun but for me that is the only place i would use it.

@@ferdivisser1983 my reason would be to have something close to an AR9 and something I can carry in my backpack and or a CQB type backup. I do have some AR15 platforms already and I felt as if I’d get an honest review and feedback from you and I was right.

@@theerealbillyb a pistol in a holster would be quicker to draw from your backpack and it will take up way less space so i would not recommend you to buy it for that reason alone. The only benefit in that scenario would be that once you retrieved the Roni from your back pack, you would be able to make way more accurate shots. But at the end of the day you need to practise with it or your pistol. For the reason you mentioned, i would rather just use a pistol in a holster but add a couple of extra mags. Less space, more pew pew.

The water is normally very cold but depending on when you visit will depend if it is a pleasant place to swim. Public holidays or school holidays it tend to get crowded at some spots but the beach in general is never packed.

Watch out for great whites they not always friendly !😮😊

The dams are kept at a safe level near full due to the fact we are only in the middel of winter.

No, if this did happen the part was either defected from the factory or you are using the wrong pistol for the specific Roni.

@@ferdivisser1983 thanks, I have not seen it myself but I have heard this. that the charging assy will slide past the serrated groves of the glock slide and it ruins the inside part of the charging handle

No, just flip gun upside down and place gun in near the side mounting bracket. I have never had that problem or any other, it's a good unit and worth the money.

Hi Tamakun. The Gen4 does not come with the mag release button on the front grip. There is only a insert pin on both sides that grab the mag when you insert it. There is no physical button that release the mag.

I have the gen 4 for the czp10c and it has a mag release, weird it don't come with the glock model. But overall a nice toy to have!!

@@louis_ellis.2410 do you have the "CAA Micro Roni" Gen4 or the CAA MCK? The latest model of the MCK does have the spare mag release button.

This Roni kit is specifically made for Glock pistols. As far as i know there is not a kit available for the Taurus brand.

It could be yes. I had zero issues so far shooting with 125 & 147 g reloads. The 125g tested out to be doing around 1100 fps.

My Gen 5 G26 had many failures to feed on my first outing w/ Blazer Brass 115 grn. The Federal HST and Speer Lawman (full power) 115 grn. I shot before the Blazer had zero problems. It wasn't until weeks later after I put around 400 rnds of other faster, heavier ammo through the gun that the Blazer Brass 115 grn. worked reliably. And I'm someone who cleans/lubes right before going to the range (if you use oil rather than grease, the oil can run off and evaporate in a matter of months). There are a couple vids here of others having this problem. The springs on these shorter guns are very stiff.

​​@@gravy229 same with my wife's G26 9mm. Hers jammed on Armscor and various hollow points. It really pisses me off because one, she liked it and picked it, two it is her self defense gun, and three she may not be able to clear it in time in an emergency if it happens and she's alone, and four it was $549 ! My dang SCCY pistols didn't mess up this much 🤣🤣 I hope it gets better in a short time, otherwise she needs a different gun.

Honestly i dont know. However, the Roni is not designed for sub MOA accuracy. It is merely a conversion kit to help stabilise your shooting and giving you a different shooting experience compared to your basic pistol. I would recommend the kit for close courter shooting within 50 yards.

Gun matters are going crazy in the States at the moment and i honestly does not see any brain power being used in al the laws the government are trying to implement! Luckily for us in South Africa we as a firearm community are getting stronger.

How far of a distance are you talking, and what is your reasoning why the 19 is more accurate?

@@nickadkins7765 At 50 yards the glock 26 is not as accurate as a 19. I know this from shooting my gun which is a 26 and then shooting my friend's 19 and his was more accurate it might be because the barrel is just a little longer.

The more you shoot the better and more confident you will get with your firearm.

What gen Roni you have?

I got the Gen 4 , took forever to arrive but I definitely recommend it .

As soon as you need to do a mag change it should be a split second slower. Might do a future video on it comparing it to my Smith&Wesson 15-22.

What gen is your 26,19 and 17? It's not really a problem if you shoot the 26 better.
