@@WolfofStar I don't know specifics, but yesterday in discord a mod said this: "The devs have stated that they are taking a break right now, and I'm sure they will be back soon when they are fully ready to dive back head first and give us updates then (:" Quoted directly from discord mod Brick, so I have hopes that they will be making updates in the future!

@@WolfofStar I agree, but I am very pleased with it overall! Its a top fav for me right now, building just to build is something I was needing in my life.

Sadly there is no copy/pasting currently in the game. I am making one long castle wall and cutting it apart so that I can just grab and move quicker. Is this what you are referencing? If not maybe I can clarify further if you give me a time stamp to check for you.

Yeah! The Fence tool with the path beneath it so that the fence has the "flat" look.

The night time view is the first view in the showcase, I changed the colors a bit because I felt like it was more eerie in the greyer tones. Does it not translate? Darn it ☹️ It was a last minute choice to change it the night footage for the color modified grey night.

@@TinyBlocksmith Many people build "big"...but I like the smaller and "organic" buildings, lol. I have the game but it's very time consuming, it's mostly for rainy days...have some sketches for some crazy concepts, hehe.

@@Aetila Same, I prefer the little details that bring the build to life. My haunted town that I'm releasing soon, took nearly a week.. and it's still on the smaller side considering it's a "town". Definitely a rainy day kind of game! That's a good way to put it. If you do get around to making your crazy concepts I'd like to see them!

I find it amazing how fast people learned all the tips and tricks, after barely a month, they can create everything now, while I'm still learning...and busy with other projects. What I'm trying to do is to create a modern Bauhaus villa, or something close to it...but so far I failed on the windows and the worn walls I wanted a clean white surface)...it would take weeks to get close...and I'm already sitting too much in front of the screen. One guy made something similar, a building quarter, depressive soviet style, in winter, hehe... Also, I caught a sheep by using a fence tool, lol, it livened up a scene...another very small thing is to use the wall tool to create a chimney without smoke, in the summer, I didn't see that yet in other videos, in a city all the chimney are smoking heavily...still learning the wall tool and the recalcitrant fence tool.

@@Aetila That sounds awesome! For the windows, maybe you could try leaving the space empty to give it that "window" feel, it might work for a minimalist look, though I haven’t explored that aesthetic myself yet. If it’s not as clean as you want, maybe use the camera tool to frame it closer to your vision for pictures. In the tool you can strip all textures. It makes it look like a 3-D like model, with no "paint" if that makes sense. I really hope they add more textures, stucco instead of brick would be amazing, and I’m dying for some wood grain textures! Catching sheep is one of my favorite things too! Did you know you can click on them and guide them with your mouse? I did it by accident during the treehouse build (clicking on it out of frustration) and was totally mind-blown when he turned and walked to where my cursor moved. The chimney trick is genius, I haven’t seen anyone talk about that either!

To make the fence straight at the top I am using the path tool beneath it. So technically I'm making a gate or the entry way through the fence when you draw the path tool through a fence. Then I'm just shrinking it down as far as it will go. The final touch is the paint tool, turning the fence blue. I'd be happy to try and explain it further/make a clarification video.

That tree/troll in the center is a combination of lots of the "dead" trees. But I cannot take credit for that, it was the map design for the "tiny weekly" haunted town map! If you had logged in during that week the game featured that map as the daily. But in this case it was a unique weekly. That map also had pumpkin clutter, and special banner designs!! Which I absolutely fell in love with.

Yeah! That troll is made of a bunch of dead trees stacked to form a shape. The terrain beneath it is also used to achieve the effect. Raising the terrain to create peaks gives the trees a higher base to stand on, so the 'hair' trees appear taller than the others.

I would LOVE a more complex stairs tool 🙏

Yeah :( I was hoping no one noticed!! I lost some of the footage, those steps are basically fences turned into a ladder if you were wondering what is going on there. Its the fence tool, stacked on a path, which is how you get the space and top edge. Its a technique to get more wooden elements in the build. I plan to upgrade my setup soon so I won't have issues in the future. This hobby has turned into a passion, I'm loving building and sharing my creations.

@@TinyBlocksmith Aww, you are very welcome! ❤️ I love creative people and I love people who like to tinker with beautiful things, I also really hope that it will be expanded, as long as you dont need to "kill" things and can just build beautiful things and look at them, I love it. I would love to be able to go into the tiny houses and see an old woman baking cakes, or knitting, or sitting in a chair reading. It would be nice if you can also just fill the houses with cupboards with tiny things, like dollhouses. But that is for the developer to decide of course 🙏

@@kupfeli That would be great! I'd put a little knitter in all of my builds. Would be so cute! I know some people experiment with internal builds. It is amazing what people come up with though. Someone on reddit made Hogwarts, but they took the time to build the interior, it is insane, so amazing.
