I’m surprised two versions of the show have been staged around the same time, win for sunset fans , but considering they like to win awards or be nominated for things I’m baffled

I've seen 4 Joes in "Sunset Blvd" all around the globe ... Alan Campbell (Broadway), John Barrowman (West End), Hugh Jackman (Melbourne) and Michael Cormick (Sydney concert version). Tim Draxl"s voice is utterly perfect for this role - rich, masculine, desperate and dramatic. Am seeing the show this Saturday night at the Sydney Opera House ... can't wait!

I saw this at preview night (which happened to be my birthday). There were some minor tech glitches like a door falling off but they were pros how they resolved the issues and people cheered as they made those corrections. Shane (best know overseas for his Kenny character) did a fantastic job as the mum. Even better then Travolta. Todd who played the husband had such a great rapport throughout that their playfulness during timeless to me had the audience rolling off their seats with laughter. Best show I've seen in a long time.

I really love how clean the ensemble's vocals are. This number has been jokingly called "You Can't Stop to Breathe" due to the tongue-twister lyrics and high-octane choreography. But this cast sound so good! Amazing!

when i went to see it the narrator looked like an investigator (like HE is meant to) and riffraff sang more of the opening to the timewarp (magentas parts too) which i liked since it was a nice twist, this.....seems like a downgrade

Really? So this was actually a damned WOKE show before WOKE? And, no, theatre does NOT matter. It can be thrilling, fun and beautiful. But, it only matters to Looney Liberals. Before you start, I'm a homosexual; gays are ridiculous.

No es un musical es una obra de teatro larguuuuuuuuuuuuuuisima, soppppppppporifera y sin ritmo, actores corriendo con sus capas por el escenario como el baile de entrevista con un vampiro, 3 horas insoportable no pudimos aguantar y nos fuimos en la segunda parte, una obra de teatro no puede durar 3 horas señor director hay wue refucir y pkasmas la historia en un tiempo razonable para el publico no dormirlo
