What’s the route you took. I want to do this trail to go winter camping
From Heart Lake I took the Van Hoevenberg Trail up to Marcy, down the other side to Lake Tear-of-the-clouds onto the Mount Marcy Trail, then the Lake Arnold Trail back to ADK Loj
maybe the camera doesn't do it justice but this whole place looks like a long boring mellow flat hill.

@ieee-d5c ny has some decent spots like hunter. But its nothing compared to vermont or out west

Very good video. We did the loop the other way. Avalanche Lake to Lake Colden to Lake Tear, up Skylight, then Marcy, down Van Hoevenberg. I always got a chill at 4 corners. Back in the day (1962-1968) there was a lean to there.
