Superb...... Been following for a while now and cant wait to see your hard work pay off!
What power is it running?
@@xkaywz 600+ is the aim
Hmm. I'll put it down to oversight that you didnt change the plugs and coils when aiming for huge power:D Great to hear it running. Looking forward to seeing the torque figures.
Sounds sweet greetings from another Mondeo 2.5T owner. What power figures you’re hoping for with these mods on?
@@rolandkovacs3936 hoping to see 600+ crank
Looking good Matt. Going to be a beast once all mapped in
Love this project. And Saffas. Where abouts roughly are you in the UK? West country?
Haha I'm aaaaall the way south, near Hastings
Water cooled Blow off valve ? when did that become a thing ?
@colinscutt5104 yeah most of the newer ones are now, not 100% sure when it became common if I'm honest
15:30 Mum didn't raise a quitter. On a positive note, your starter motor is solid!
😂😂😂
Good work brother, new sub here 🎉🎉
Great work Matthew ❤ she’s gona be a beast and probably the fastest Mondeo in the world at a guess
If you look at that turbo and listen quietly, you can hear M3's filling their pants. That war whistle is great LOL!
subbed as i drive an xr24x4
Comments to help the algorithm ❤
He says two weeks before Xmas. Waiting for next video
Hey nice i dropped you a sub. Check our the exhaust I did on a Porsche cayenne
What Pump did you use ? XC90 t6
@@CasaOsso I used the mondeo pump to get it all going at first
I've watched all your videos, and they deserve more views. The lack of visibility may be due to insufficient SEO; your descriptions are too short and unappealing, and your thumbnails could also be more attractive. Additionally, you're not using any tags or keywords, making it hard for people to find your videos in search results, which leads to low views. I’m a TH-camr and SEO expert, and I can help improve this situation and elevate your channel. If you’d like to know more, please share your contact information, and we can connect.
Keen to come through and help if you ever need broskie!
just curious why you didnt want to spray brake clean in the diff
@@AndrewRzymski really just cause I was worried it could contaminate the oil or mess up the seals on the prop flange side
Just wanted to say that you're really inspiring. I don't know what impresses me more, your knowledge and abilities or the fact you do it under a gazebo or in a well used family garage. Kudos!
Good to see your content back!
Hi Matt, I'd love to get in contact and discuss some things with you as I currently have one. love the work, ken
@@TheBikerken hey mate, sure no problem at all. You on any of the mondeo or ford FB groups? As I post all over haha
@saffaengineering5721 appears I've found you on FB and have messaged
Hope you got a big ugga dugga machine to take those fly wheel bolts with locktite off. Nice work Mat.
I have to check mine hoses because I’m loosing coolant… not too much but have to top it up once in a longer while…
very subtle indeed
Thanks for your inspiring series. Bumper is very cool. If youre looking for ideas, check out rocket anti lag. Prodrive had it for a while on Subaru WRC cars before it was banned by the FIA.
it looks great mate
Looking good China, we must catch up sometime boet. Much love
Looking awesome mate bring on officially gassed 😁
Hi To remove the intercooler, do you have to remove the front bumper?
With the standard and the airtec intercoolers you dont, you just pull off the bottom trays to get access. I may have to in order to remove the one I am installing, but hopefully not!
What a project m8! Good job, nice to see 🎉👍👍
Awesome stuff Matt, wasn't expecting that sort of power out of the stock turbo 😮 definitely on my shopping list when you get it sorted!
Awesome mate looking forward to what it does with the big turbo
Good to you posting again man! Love the content.
How you been man? Didn't get to say goodbye when you left
Awsome About time some were did an ecu for are cars. Game changer. Ares run totally different to a focus st/rs and it anoys me
Fantastic! Glad ya back n congratulations on the bubby.
@@bradleysearle7821 all good my side man, hit me up on FB or something!
Hey man, discovered your video series yesterday after searching the 2.5t Facebook group for 4wd mondeo conversions. Someone linked your video series. I have a question, what does a stock xc60 do in terms of moving fuel from one side of the tank to the other? Wondering why you needed to deal with this yourself. Cheers
Hey mate! At this stage I wasn't sure how the xc60 did it as there's no documentation anywhere. Turns out there's a venturi system on the xc60 piping, so it self circulates. I didn't work this out till later in the build. There's going to be a new round of videos in the new year, as I've been working away on a few things
@saffaengineering5721 hey, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Look forward to the new episodes, it's something I've been toying with for some time. Guessing from peeking ahead, it's been a labour of love!?
@salohcinnosnah6379 yeah it's a long term project, not going anywhere. I've got some goals I want to achieve with it this coming year, so if all goes to plan it should get quite exciting
Are the shafts from an xc70 or xc60 mate?
Xc70 fits best mate, must be post 2014, so P3 volvo
wht steering wheel is that?
Its a custom trimmed one, the guys have unfortunately stopped making them now though
With the battery now in the boot you could install a water/air intercooler setup like a mk1 focus rs!
Im going to see what I can fit when I've got the big turbo in!
Cut a slot in the mdf base to go over the spare wheel bracket?
I don't think it'd work out as it'd need to be quite a big slot to account for movement... But I think I have a plan!
What full synthetic oil you running? Maybe next time instead of pouring out of the large container, decant into a smaller more manageable container with the correct amount of oil in. Just a thought. Keep up the good work.
That sounds like way too much effort and fore thought 🤣 thanks bud!
Great video, we all have those niggly things that get in the way of going for a drive. Fair play to you, just getting the seals stripped out and refreshed. Looking forward to see how the new engine is. 👍
Nice one Mat. That's a lot of work by yourself. Well done man.
Nice job, mate! What kind of Millers Oils do you use?
Thanks!! It's just some miller's break in oil, unfortunately where I live there's not a good local supply of miller's, so don't use it often
Be good to see the mondeo on OG battles when its all done
Exciting times mate
Good to see you back looking forward to the next one
Where did you get those hood struts mate?
Dark ice design
From episode to episode this is just an amazing work to watch. Thank you.
I have this for a year by now on my watchlist. I've just started watching. Looking forward on all episodes to see.
savage car mate!
