Hi, in my course I do not really have any STEM related modules. A lot of peers in my class did come from BA (history, social sciences, communications, journalism, arts etc.) However, I am not saying that a BSc would not be helpful at all. There are a few students who did engineering or something similar. What I would do is check with your institution and ask what the admission requirements are for the master in IR. For me, I had to take on additional course work and modules because I had to "bridge" a gap of knowledge or skills that I did not require in my BA. This is a long answer but I hope this helps! :))

I have a few core modules like history of IR, introduction to international economics and international law and then I have the opportunity to pick a few electives. This year for example I chose gender and diversify in the EU and international politics and conflict and security in Asia. It’s a readings heavy course tho… at least for me. A lot of I depend study and readings and a lot of lecture based courses. I hope this helps ✨

Hi, I either type my notes on google drive, hand write them in a module dedicated notebook or write directly on ppt slides on my iPad on the app goodnotes haha 😅🩷 I’m not very consistent haha

Hi, I think it can depend from school to school but my biggest tip overall would be to stay on top of everything and to not hesitate to ask questions. I failed for get over my fear of asking questions because I thought I would be able to figure it out by myself. Now I have to retake 1 exam in the summer… 🥲 I would also definitely recommend reaching out to upper classmen. Asking their tips, experiences with certain professors, notes, previous exams etc !! Good luck!! ✨☺️
