Yeah Baby Goods
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 16 เม.ย. 2014
Our firstborn hated every highchair he ever met, until the day he sat in the IKEA Antilop. I don’t think we’ve ever been so happy with a baby product purchase. The design is clean and modern. It’s lightweight and easy to move or take apart. Best of all, it’s only $20! As much as we love the IKEA highchair, we saw room for improvement. We started Yeah Baby Goods to make this best selling highchair cuter, safer and more unique. It's such a joy to run this company from home with our family of six. We hope you love our products as much as we do!
IKEA Highchair Footrest Installation
Step-by-step instructions on how to install the Yeah Baby Goods patented footrests! The most important thing to note is that the deeper part of the underside grooves need to face forward for the footrest to sit properly.
1) With the highchair fully assembled, wrap the first support clamp around one of the front highchair legs and snap it closed.
2) In order for the footrest to lay flat, the grooves on the underside of the footrest must be oriented correctly. One side of the groove has a deeper cut than the other side. Make sure the side with the deeper cut is facing forward, then insert the footrest between the two front legs by holding it diagonally.
3) Level the footrest and snap the second support clamp closed on the other front leg.
4) Adjust the footrest up or down based on your child’s height. The child’s knees and ankles should sit at a 90 degree angle.

Older Babies Need Highchair Cushions Too
มุมมอง 9263 ปีที่แล้ว
The IKEA highchair has a super roomy base. Older babes might take advantage of the extra space to pull up their knees or put their feet on the tray. This can lead to a distracted eating experience, which increases choking risk. If you are thinking, “But my baby is too big to fit with the cushion now,” this hack shows how you can use the Yeah Baby Goods cushion without the sides. This gives plen...

Why Highchair Cushions are Important for Proper Eating Posture
มุมมอง 8583 ปีที่แล้ว
There's been a lot of attention recently on why highchair footrests are important for proper eating posture. However, there’s been very little education on why cushions are also really important. I think most people understand cushions are useful to give little babies support. But did you know they are helpful for older babies and toddlers too? This video shows why cushions help babies of all a...

Safe Highchair Positioning - Quick Overview
มุมมอง 3973 ปีที่แล้ว
I’m so happy more and more moms are learning about the importance of proper highchair positioning! The general rule is to make sure hips, knees and ankles are all at 90 degree angles. Wondering how you get those angles right? HIPS: Choose a highchair that has a straight back. A reclined seat can cause choking risks. If the seat base is big for your baby and they lean or slouch, add a suppo...

www.yeahbabygoods.com
No not 90’ think again!
I can’t believe I didn’t see this video before I searched so much for tips on removing the tray. You are a godsend.
thank you 🤩🤩💯💯
Can you use circular saw
Great vid but please, please, please always wear PPE and keep the kiddos away from MDF dust.
Nice
Can you give a rough cost for all of the materials? Wood, paint, etc
I just tried to do this and it came out like complete crap on a couple of them. What a waste of money! I would buy another one to do the two that look like junk, but I don’t get like paying for the wraps and shipping again
Hi i have a question. 😭 How much did you spend just on the cardboards
Wow! I loved it!
Do not bother wasting your money on this. I tried so hard to make sure I put them on right and it looks so bad. Not worth the stress or money.
This was the best tutorial I've seen in a long time. Thank you
You didn’t mention what mm thickness the mdf is? Please can you advise Thanks
You guys are amazing! Thank you for making this tutorial.
Please can I have measurements of your backdrop if possible I would really appreciate
Hi, thanks for the tutorial., how much paint does this project need do we have to apply primer?
I’m trying so hard to get the residue off, but it’s not coming off ugh
Microwave a paper towel that is wet use gloves and scrub off! It’s the only thing that works for me
So the big first piece is 6ft after the arch ?
For the support just a big 2x4 down the middle flat plywood ton the Bottom and just put a brick on top
Would Hardboard Tempered Panel work for this as well?
Can you lean this on a wall instead of putting the wood on the back?
Brilliant!! thank you!
Pretty balloon colors! What colors and brand did you use?
We ordered a kit the Etsy shop WonderfultimeStore. This is the 9 foot garland length. The balloon colors were doubled cream peach, doubled apricot and double matte coral. www.etsy.com/listing/953089694/
I’ve installed my leg wraps but now they keep peeling up, what did I do wrong/what can I do to fix it??
This design is beautiful! We have been inspired to do something similar for my sons first birthday. How did you secure the balloons to the backdrop? Thank you!!
The set we ordered came with a hook! www.etsy.com/listing/953089694/

I noticed you have an Ohio shirt on so I’m assuming you’re from Ohio! Is there any way I could rent these from you for my daughters birthday party next month?
you can send me a DM @yeahbabygoods!
What kind of vehicle does everyone use?
Awesome job 👍👍
Is there a difference between front and back legs? Why do you suggest having the seam facing outward on the back legs but not on the front legs?
Sooo cute!!! Loved your tutorial!!!
This is so sooo helpful! These guys are so expensive to rent in Los Angeles and I thought it would be way too complicated to DIY. Thank you!! One question - you mentioned you would have leaned the center arch back a little. If I just wanted the one center arch, would it stand okay on the frame it's attached to, or would you still recommend to tilt it back slightly? I guess I am wondering if the wind was blowing over the center arch that was stabilized by the frame or not? Thanks!
I think it would be fine if you are just doing the center one!
Oh sorry, I’m signed on with a different account but this is my video 🥰
@@krkruithof Awesome, thank you again!
This was the most straight forward video I’ve seen! Thank you so much 😊
Couldn’t you use foam?
You did great work.... 👍👍 From india,
what was your total cost for all supplies?
I just finished one, and I want to say the wood was about $100, you can use paint samples instead of gallons which are pretty cheap, then some screws which isn't much. If you don't have a jigsaw, that'll be between $100-200 probably
Hi could you give the dimensions of the boards?
What was the total spent including paint and everything?
Around $120!
Great job sir, thank you for taking your time to explain the process. Love the end result 👌 👏 👍
Is mdf better and easier to use?
yes and less likely to warp
what thickness MDF did you use
Use 1/4"....easier to work with and much lighter!!
These turned out great !! What kind of paint did you use ?
Dutch Boy, Eggshell sheen. Here are the paint colors: Harvest Peach, Fallen Leaf, and Wintered Peach
agreed! start with back legs - my first leg was a train wreck and slowly got better.
I suggest starting with the back legs if you’re not sure how well you’ll do lining up edges 😬 I definitely got better as I went and regretting having the first one I did in the front!
