hi everyone : ) we're twin sisters kimmy & vee.we're self taught bakers and crafters and are so excited to share these tutorials with you!
a little bit about us- we started baking & cooking when we were little. we were always in the kitchen- it was our favorite place in our house! we started "twinkle bakery" to share our love of baking with others (IG: @twinklebakerytwins). food is our "love language"! when we thought about this channel, we didn't want to limit ourselves to food. we both love to craft (just wait til we show you our halloween costumes!) and have countless other hobbies. oh- and we both work full time- veronica as an accountant, and kimmy as a pharmacist- but we always make time to do the things we love- thus the name "there's always room 4". while we tend to apply this saying to "dessert", we're here to remind you "there's always room 4" anything you want in life!

DIY Girl Scout Cookie Costume
Follow along as I create two Girl Scout cookie costumes! I’m trying something new- just showing the process start to finish, with no explanation or VoiceOver.
Truthfully, this quick edit was made because a Girl Scout troop leader reached out when she saw these costumes on our instagram account and wanted to make these costumes for members to help them sell cookies! I just didn’t have the time to create a proper tutorial, (editing and adding voice overs can take HOURS!) so I put together this quick video to hopefully give her an idea of the process. She said it worked, so I'm sharing the video here!
Hope this makes sense! Feel free to drop questions below and I’ll do my best to help answer them: ). A few key takeaways: I used foam seat cushions and cut them to the shapes I needed. And large bolts of felt will be your BEST FRIENDS when you’re crafting costumes! It’s the best fabric to work with because it is easy to cut, doesn’t fray, comes in every color, and works well with hot glue!

My sister and I fell in love with a $300 BHLDN wedding veil and I DIY-ed it for $20! You can also roll the top of de jumpsuit as much as possible while taking it off.
Sometimes I just bring two hair elastics and then tighten up the bottoms by grabbing the bottom and tying it up in the elastic, tight around the ankle.

You did a lovely job and the hand-stitching it makes it so nice I would like to suggest that aleene's Jewel it glue dries clear and you just need a little dab and you put your Pearl on and you can't even see it when it dries of course it's not nearly as nice as what you did but there's a hard to tell the differences
Thank you so much for the suggestion! I think for any other outfit or costume i would have definitely used aleene’s glue :) but for my sisters wedding i guess part of me wanted to throw my blood sweat and tears into something for her big day:)

So which one is better? Tull or mesh ?
really depends on if you want a softer, more flowy veil (go with mesh) or a more stiff/structured veil (go with tulle)! hope that helps!
My wedding in is two and a half months and I realized this morning I had never ordered my veil. And now it would be too late. Your video helped me feel confident I can do this myself. I don't think I will add all the pearls but was thinking I could do them along the bottom few inches.

You could also just roll up the bottom of the pant bit. I, usually roll up any loose pants as well. Thankfully, I, usually wear elastic cuff, so easy to just pull up.
The veil they used in the boutique to seal the bridal vision was absolutely perfect and everything i was looking for... but it was $250! I'll be using this tutorial to recreate it! Let's just hope i can get the motivation to sew on all those pearls by november.
If you start now and do maybe an average of 8-10 pearls each day or so, you can definitely have it done before november🥰!!!
