I’m always surprised when pasta cooks in oven like that. Same with crockpot when they put it in later . I always need to boil it on water first.

Honestly if I were you I would have drained all the fat from the ground beef. I would seasoned the ground beef first, then I would actually cooked the pasta instead of just pouring it into the casserole

Why add italian seasonings when you added basil,thyme, and oregano? May be too much since the jar sauce has seasonings in it as well. Jus saying sometimes less is more
