Wauw, good job. How long did it take to remove the lacquer from say a 12" tom, and what did you use? I would love to remove the inner layer from two of my BLX´s, but was warned that it would take forever and possibly damage the plies or at least the first layer.

i have a question - do you remove a inner lacquer?

The pictures here are mostly without finish, only satin oil, but later I added some high gloss too, that was really hard work... Good Luck on your project!

Thanks man, that snare is made by a friend of mine, it's a custom stave/brick hybrid made of maple and walnut. The hoops and the lugs are also made of walnut. I put a picture link to the description about it. Dig your covers, and your DDrum set, specially the bassdrum! Subbed back! All the best

thanks, that cymbal is an old Zildjian 20" ride, probably from the 60s. It's origanally a ride, but I use it for crash too.

Thanks man, the two crash hits around 1:13 are not in the original mix (of course the percussions are different, and my tambourine is more dominant I think), so you can hear it only from my playing, I thinks that volume is quite enough, I didn't want my drums to be too loud according to the music. and you can also hear some mistakes/differences between the two drum tracks :) All the Best!
