Our track is roughly 12m x 7m. We use plastic down pipe as the barriers with 3x2 timber inserts to make up the corners. Strong Velcro on the underside keeps it in place on the carpet. Good luck with your club.

It’s based on F1 Stockcar racing. The full sized cars are a full contact sport as well.

This is the fastest class. There are also F2 Stockcar that run brushed 20t motors and nimh batteries. Most drivers start in the banger class, then F2, Then F1. The cars are designed to take the collision and it’s a full contact race. It’s great fun but a lot harder than it looks.

It was a great evening. Every enjoyed it and we’ve got even more new drivers for next week.

It was my first time. I was a little anxious at the start but once I got going I really enjoyed it. I image the boys and girls doing it on Monkey bike had a slightly tougher time. Have a go I’m sure you will enjoy it, the camaraderie all the way round was brilliant.

we rebuilt with a new cylinder etc.

@@Wheelshots how much in parts?cylinder,piston,rings,etc no handwork.

@@serchmarc It was about £600 inc new bearings and seals.

Running lean maybe and engine overheat?

thats because Rotax are way more reliable than all the others but things like this can still happen

There has beena problem with early Evo's cylinders, this was corrected in 2018/2019 which new cylinders via a special Rotas upgrade deal.

Sad to hear but I’m not surprised unfortunately, I attended a charity ride myself a while back and ‘some’ of the bikers that day were simply idiotic. To be fair though I believe it’s a very small minority.

It was my first time yesterday and thought it very well organized I saw no dangerous riding but I did overtake on the first occasion when helping some riders not to take the slip road up to Hollingwood and I went over 50 when found myself on my own going through Stockport in fact the only dangerous driving was a couple of cars 4400 riders and I haven't heard of any one being done for anything or having an off I thought it was fantastic :) Hope to see you on the next one Steve :) James (Ainsworth Rider. take a look )

@@Ainsworth-Rider yes mate I've just been watching footage on here and some cars are dangerous too. I saw a young lad fall of his dads bike on the slip road very lucky indeed he was trapped under the bike but not for long bless him.. Its definitely the minority but I value my safety and jumped of around half way as the traffic was awful. I will carry on ow I've slept on it... Its why I enjoy biking so much
