Very ingenious idea! I'll do something similar
Thank you and thank you for watching.
That is GORGEOUS! Thank you for showing us how the wood bowed and how you fixed it. That was quite interesting. I love the mortise and tenon join - I couldn't make one, but I think it's an elegant join.
Thank you and thank you for watching.
Your going to have to make a sawhorse that will make it easier to cut plywood.
I agree. Thanks for watching.
Great one Ron, this is exactly the type of oldschool woodwork project video I like to watch. 👍 I was going to say that the strike panel section might have been improved slightly by radiusing the inner corners instead of having 90 degree cuts, but then watching later on you show how the two sides have to come together, the curve would have been needed on both side pieces which probably wouldn't have been ideal either. End result is very schmick, great job!
Thank you for watching. I tried to keep the build as simple as possible.
Love how you share those little tips and tricks!
Thank you again.
Pleasure watching your process and your beautiful work piece. Your explanations are very educational and clearly show your high level of craftsmanship. Very well done, Sir!
Thank you for watching and your kind words.

Thank you for watching. I'm glad I was able to help.
awesome video! The table came out beautiful. I'm going to be trying something similar to a project i'm working on! Live edge pine corner table! wish me luck.
That sounds like a good challenge. Good luck.
Thanks for the money save tip no coupon code :)
Thank you for watching.
I thought you said it was a phuck in the cuck but you actually said effecting my cut 🤣 0:03
What thickness of wood would you normally go with ? Love your video.
Thank you for watching. These boxes are 3/8 inch thick.
Hello sir, please I want to ask you: Are there factories in America that are looking for an upholsterer? If you have any information that you can help me with?
I'm sorry, but I do not. Thank you for watching. May I ask what contry you live in?

Thank you for watching.
I had fun making one of these. A few mistakes were made but I learned a few new things in the process. even though I know how it works I am still mesmerized when an object disappears after closing and opening the box. I can wait to show it to my Grandchildren. My plywood was a little undersized so I had to compensate for the differences in thickness. Thank you for making this video.
Thank you for watching Dave. I agree it never gets old, making something disappear in that box.
Very nice work
Thank you for watching.
Always love your finished projects, but I really miss your dialogue in the videos. You always shared wonderful nuggets of wisdom!
Thank you. Just trying something new for TH-cam.
Where’s the lid?

That simple but elegant. Very nice I gave you a 👍 up. 😁
Thank you for watching.
I have been looking for something like this for a while. This is great!! Thank you for making this video!!
Thank you for watching.
Awesome! Thank you Sir. Im making this for my grandson. He loves fooling people.
Thank you Jeff. I'm sure he will enjoy it.
Putting the tensioners on the underside is a genius move. I was trying to figure out how to do the tensioning on the bottom, but didn't want to have tall feet. This is the move! Thanks.
Thank you for watching Jay.
Awesome! That's exactly the idea I was looking for!
Thank you. I use it quit often and no failure yet.
Looks great
Absolutely beautiful amazing work. Keep up the great job 😊
Thank you Jim. Thank you for watching.
Very beautiful great job
Excellent work!!
Thank you for watching my videos.
love your work, wish you would offer/sell the plans for that for us beginners.
I only make rough sketches and build on the fly. Thank you for your intrest and watching my videos.
awesome. sell me the plans ? Id like to make one.
I don't have plans for sale.
Very cool box! Nice mix of power tool and hand tool work.
Thank you for watching.
First time ive seen the tensioning set up on the underside to adjust the cables, thats very clever. Ive also wanted to use steel wire but am worried that it might end up requiring rework as a result of the expansion and contraction of the cable as the temperature changes over the year. Thinking particularly as it gets into winter and the steel shrinks it might put too much pressure on the uprights and snap them. Has your table had any issue's?
I have never had a problem with the cables. I would advise making the "legs" a little wider so the Dovetails can be longer.
I can tell your a master of you game and you work is beautiful
Thank you for watching.
You're obviously a skilled woodworker and that's a really cool box. I don't understand why you would remove the single most effective safety device on your table saw, the riving knife. So dangerous.
Thank you. My table saw did not come with one.
@@RonMulletWoodworkthat really is no excuse. You should immediately cease work; put up “do not enter” tape around the machine and the workshop. I suggest you also hire security guards in case someone breaks in and uses the machine. I’ve only been woodworking for 45 plus years - so what do I know?
@@theofarmmanager267 LOL You know exactly what I'm thinking.
Absolutely masterful work sir, truly well done!
Thank you Rob and thank you for watching.
Great instructional video! I'm looking to try to re-upholster mine but I've never tried before! Feel much more confident to try it now!
Have at it. You will learn so much. Good luck.
What an incredible video! I'm new to this hobby, but this is my next project. Thank you for the great explanation.
Good luck on your journey. Try something new with each project.
I really like your method of tightening the cables. Is there a specific name for the "tensioners" you used?
Eye bolts and corner brackets I bought at Home Depot.
Fine Craftsmanship Hoss. Thanks for the shim trick on the leg. I learned something new today. But I'll probably forget. Thanks for taking us along. I am milling for a pie safe at the moment as well. I hope it turns out as nice as yours.
Thank you for the kind words.
