Hey Mr. stirrup! This is Ram from your 2nd period algebra 1 class in the 16-17 school year. Im a junior now and i just remebered that you did youtube videos. Anyways, I hope that you are doing well. These videos are actually helping out with my Algebra 2 so thank you very much. Hope that you are doing well!
See thats what I thought but the only answers to chose are 4 14 30 120 and 180 www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/the-act/test-preparation/math-practice-test-questions.html?page=0&chapter=1
Your answer has 3 salads, 2 soups, 5 sandwiches, and 4 drinks - so multiply 3x2x5x4 = 120 (so not exact to the problem that I worked out). Sorry to reply 7 months too late.
Hi Mr. Stirrup. In case others are looking for this lecture..... This lecture is from March 9, 2017 even though it's titled March 7, 2017. As always, thank you for posting!
Problem #10 - answer being 12/5 - The glitch was at 19:25 (video segment), the "single" and "double" should be switched, and the "4" should be the length of the hypotenuse instead of the bottom leg. Mr. Stirrup, I absolutely LOVE your videos and thank you so much for reteaching me geometry. I so wish that all the teachers would do this as this is extremly helpfull and increadibly powerfull when I work with my daughter. Please keep up the great work, you are an awesome geomentry teacher! Matt - Kirsten's dad
Ah - I knew I made a small error there. Thank you so much for the support. I know that the videos are such a great tool for kids. Thanks for having such an awesome daughter.
HAY M'Y
Btw I really like your videos! They help me so much in math! ☺️
For #13 you said the half of 4 is 4, so you put -4x but isn’t it supposed to be -2x? You got x=-40 but I got x= -66.6 or -200/3
In number 7, wouldn’t -39+13 equal -26? You put down 36
looks like I made an error - good catch on that.
Christopher Stirrup thanks 😊
Great breakdown! thank you

Hi back at you Mr. Stirrup! Keep up the great work!!!
Fun lecture! BTW, I am taking Kirsten to a tattoo parlor for a pre-approved (40:22) full geometry sleeve...
Ahh how cool, at 16:49 a shout out to Kirsten's dad (A.K.A "x+1" where x=total number of students enrolled in Accelerated Geometry-5th period).
