As a former 100 mbr, our "tradition" is a blessing and a curse. When you have Dr. James and Mr. Sargent that been at FAMU together for 100+ years. IT'S TIME FOR RETIREMENT! We give your flowers and thank you for all your contributions and service but it's time for you to go(step aside) in order for the program to move forward. This isn't a battle , it's always been a showcase. If you wanna see a battle, watch the Bayou Classic, just saying.

To put it simply, the band sounds really good. Tone, balance, phrasing, pitch, blend. It's hard work to get the band to play with such clarity. Kudos to the directors and students for maintaining high standards of playing.
