Boise Mike here. Should have been a 4-bet shove pre-flop. Optimal EV play is to raise or fold when there's more than one person left to act and you're not in-position. Nice outcome, but not well played. Sorry Devo. By flatting, the hand could have easily ended up 3-handed or 4-handed and queens are difficult to play OOP in a multi-way pot. You're also showing your opponents that you probably only cold 4-bet with KK or AA, so they can exploitatively fold premiums against your 4-bets.

Honestly, you seem like a bit of a nit (at least based on watching you play just one had) and that’s very exploitable

@@michaelwright4978 Hopefully I didn’t upset you with my comment. But I would have bet the flop, for about half pot or however much. You must be on the flop. I like the river check but I think you should have been firing on the flop and turn most of the time in that scenario.

@@ethankennedy4423I agree that your suggestion is a viable play in this situation at some frequency. Most overpairs should be c-bet at a fairly high frequency in this spot, however pocket aces can be checked back at a higher frequency than all other overpairs because aces are less vulnerable to being outdrawn and it strengthens your check-back range to capture EV from your opponent bluffing turn and underestimating your value range.
I like the river check but a medium sized bet probably wouldnt have induced a huge bluff. Unless he has a 10 of course Good luck to you sir. See you on the virtual felt.

Rip that pre or fold id think. A lot of people will jam really wide behind to force you out because you look so weak not jamming for the bounty. Putting 20% of your stack in hoping to see a flop AND hit with trash is not nearly as efficient as realizing all your equity with a jam

If you shove and everyone folds, your odds improve, but if called by someone chasing bounties (likely), you're risking everything with a weak hand. Against both hands, your pre-flop equity was 25%, and allowing the BB to see a cheap flop worsened it. Additionally, 10♠️5♦️ is easily dominated, risking reverse implied odds. While you should widen your range for this bounty, it probably should have been within the top 15% of starting hands and for a shove with all hands in that range to isolate.

Would a worse hand call your river bet? Your bet on the river is -EV. You have a marginal hand that would prefer to check down, given the previous actions. Additionally, the K on the river strengthens the villain's range-many of the combinations you were ahead of on the flop and turn contained a K. The river is a check, potentially a call, but ideally, you want the villain to check back. That being said, a block-bet sizing of say 20% to 30% pot would probably be an okay exploit against a passive fish that will call with worse but won't raise you often with bluffs.

Without knowing their exact hand, you have between 6 to 15 outs here rather than the 10 to 14 you mentioned. About 24% to 60% equity on the flop.
