I just started to use this blade after a long break. I used to use primorac carbon which is extremely fast but now I enjoy the feel and control this blade provides. I initially glued Tenergy 05fx on backhand (1.9mm) and Tenergy 05 on forehand (2.1mm). Backhand worked superbly but forehand was too clicky and bouncy where I had to record the angle of hit in my head. If I did hit it right it worked nicely but wasn’t fast given the nature of the blade. However, counter spins were better than anything I used. I just didnt trust the control of my forehand spins with this combination as much as I did with Dignics 09c but I also didnt want to pay 09c price and tried Xiom C55. It worked better than T05 but top spins to return chops is still bothering me as I found it much easier to control with 09c. Lastly, in my experience, this blade’s sweet spot is not big. You need to contact the ball in the middle and given the smaller surface area, this can be challenging. I managed to find 80 gram version of this blade (normally you will get it in 84gr) to compensate for heavy rubbers. Overall I am happy with the blade, in particular with the control/feel/sound, but I will replace C55 with 09c at one point for best combination with this blade that works for me.
