On the high power switch, it’s less than 22 seconds. And in the middle, it is less than 26 seconds. I’ve never used the low setting. Super quick for me!

Congrats on your Lelit Marax! I hear it's a great machine. I don't think I have any magical suggestions for you. I usually just adjust my grind size whenever I get new beans and keep pulling shots until I get the taste that I desire. I would zero out your grinder and start from pulling shots and make adjustments from there. I did notice that whenever I kick up the pressure power for my machine, my shots did pull a lot faster than expected. Happy Coffee Making! Thanks for watching. :)

Yep! I just use water to reduce static in the grinder. It supposedly also helps with a more even extraction, but that is hard to measure.

@coddfish Love that! I upgraded from a Breville Barista Express and have enjoyed it very much. I haven’t tried any other heat exchangers, but haven’t felt the need to. Hope you get to upgrade soon! It makes the morning so much more enjoyable. 😊

Indeed way too quick! I had to add decaf beans for health reasons, so that changed the grind size quite a bit. Thanks for noticing. 😊

Good morning, I’m also from the US! I’m spraying water onto the beans. I just use distilled water because that is what I pour into my espresso machine. I’m spraying it to reduce static in my grinder. Without the tiny amount of water, the grounds can spray out unevenly. I was told it can help with a more even extraction. Let me know your thoughts if you decide to give it a try!
