I LOVED this book so much! I know she has faced a lot of backlash for writing Latin characters... but as a Latina (born and raised in Latam) I think unlike other authors, she has written these characters with respect and admiration. I really really love her characters and books so much!

What a great list! And you have such a pleasant and calming aesthetic❤️ I loved Daisy Jones when I read it because I am a huge Fleetwood Mac fan and it definitely reminded me of them. This summer I have four new non-fic books about Fleetwood Mac that I plan to read, and I just ordered Project Hail Mary as well as The Maidens from BOTM for summer reading. I have two other books about mermaids that I can’t remember off the top of my head, but I always read at least one book about mermaids in the summer!
