Making/switching to organic hydroponic nutrients made from home 3 methods (New house, DIY nutrients
After moving to anther new home we are starting over much of our hydroponic garden. My wife and I have been growing hydroponics around 5 years together and for the last 3-4 years have been using a veg bloom bundle and hydro guard. However I want to switch to 100% organic hydroponic nutrients made from home with these 3 methods I will show/discuss. As I perfect these methods and learn more I will show the results I get from them. This is my first time experimenting with these methods so we will see how it all goes together. I am using a Lomi electric composter in this video in case my pronunciation of it is hard to spell to make compost teas from home. Along with living and dead algae and worm casting compost teas. I hope you join us for this new chapter of our hydroponics journey and we learn together. Thank you for watching I appreciate your time!

    wow 4 tents! I have a really small one and i'm having so much fun I'm trying to sprout some seedlings for some chillis and lettuce and a few other things to try in it it's really got me thinking about getting a much larger one so I can grow way more produce in it after seeing vids on youtube of these really huge ones it really makes it look like such a good idea My yard space is quite small & the natural lighting isn't so great either, so I can't get such a garden outdoors.. but in a tent I could grow so many things! I even think if I did that and liked it enough that I could use my garage to set up another.. but that would be way further down the line I'm in dream mode at the moment to be honest lol I'm very new to gardening still too I'd love to be able to have an ongoing weekly supply of cucumber, spinach and broccoli or kale, I have those 3 things with a squeezed lemons juice daily for a green smoothie, so I'd love to be able to at least be able to make those with my own fresh grown produce & to have more on top of that too, I think I'd even like to try potatoes if I had enough space to get at least 1 sack/bucket going Strawberries 100% though!

    Love ur channel by the way just starting my strawberries I got a EBB flow system just trying to figure out a good light routine. How many hours do I leave them on for and how many hours with the light off and when’s the best time to put the light schedule? Do I do it in the morning?

    wow this tent looks amazing the more I see these really big ones the more I really want to try this myself.. I have recently got myself a very small tent but I think I might have made a mistake because there's not really too much I think I can do in it, I was hoping to get cucumber but I think I will do chillis and some greens instead I'm having fun with it though for sure I have very small yard space with bad lighting, so I cant get a garden outside.. but a tent like this, I would opt to park my car in my driveway & turn my garage into a fruit and veg garden, that would be awesome! The only downside is.. it all costs so much, so it makes it hard for me to just jump right into the idea & thats why i'm just seeing how I like things with the small one first

    You should look into lactic anaerobic ferments, aerobic liquid compost and aerated mineralization of organic matter in water

  • @anonomix1426
    @anonomix1426 หลายเดือนก่อน

    You should look into growing mushrooms with your leaves and other high carbon mesophilic compost methods, even crickets or non invasive roaches

    • @anonomix1426
      @anonomix1426 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The waste material and mushrooms will compost better than pure leaves and potentially produce different nutrients that your plant can definitely eat(look into rhizophagy plants can adapt to eat more complicated stuff than what synthetic nutrients will have you believe)

    • @anonomix1426
      @anonomix1426 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I won't hate for using a lome but just try to diversify your inputs as much as possible, also look into probiotic foods cause they'll make free stuff that can be incredibly beneficial like whey, but even if you stick to just leaves you can find things that specialize in eating them and use that waste as an accelerant

My bell peppers and tomatoes taste amazing and so does all of it, If I grew a hot gosht pepper and you ate it you wouldn’t call it flavorless and bland. I don’t appreciate you giving me a backhanded compliment when will it be “about time” people be understanding of others and just be nice there’s a lot of circumstances to life especially in this economy living on my own married at 25 self employed in a nice city. Food grown with salt nutrients diluted in water at a PPM tastes the same as store. Ive grown myself once tasted like stores, just make your own soil. “Just make your own soil” you are ignorant to people lives and situations. I am not the problem with the world and nor can I or you fix it. The real problem is the purchasing power of the dollar and how expensive everything is witch is a hugeee macro and micro economic issue. There’s a lot of people it’s hard to feed them all. Don’t assume such Ill will do you know how hard it is to feed 8 billion people?? Everyday 3 meals, 2000+ calories. Some corners may be cut I’m not saying it good or right, but people need to be fed also, There’s a lot of us I’m not the epa fda or any of that and that’s on the government to fix. Maybe if interest rates wernt %7 and average houses 390k people would have big houses and big yards and all “make their own soil” the nutrients I used to use was convenient sense I am very busy. Have a good day

      @@DitchTheFlock 'making your own soil' is simple in literally every situation. Do people not eat vegetables with some food scraps or not walk the earth for collection of raw materials? honestly its just excuses at this point for liquid salt nutrients and people like yourself showing it in a way that is good for the planet. Btw where does that sort of nutrients run off too on a big scale? what happens to actual soil with that?? I mean what i say, make your own soil humans. Just another Uni/ college doctrine puppet spitting hiw ways of life like a corporate puppet. Forgot about soil, let's feed the planet with bland food

      Luckily my 65 year old father has a head of full color hair, he owns a gym and has eat right and exercise most of his life and raised me to, I attribute it to genetics, working out, eating soups, salads, smoothies, protein. Also shower filters tap water bothered my scalp I have 3 filters on my shower and luckily this new hosue has a new water heater the last one made my filters nasty fast so a water heater cleaning was needed or a new one in general in that house. My scalp is less dry witch in %10 humidity in the desert I get dry skin easy from tap water. Most houses have water softeners here to help with hard water unfortunately this one doesn’t have one but I still seems to be okay. I bleach my scalp every few months witch is the worse thing I do for my hair but I like it blonde. I notice the bleach hurt my scalp and perhaps thin it a bit but it’s really thick I was born with alot of skin on my head with alot of hair luckily. I see people on the tv show big brother start working out and thier hair goes from gray back to color a bit and grows in more a bit witch is cool to see thier transformation, I’m rewatching the seasons with my wife. Anyway have a great day :D I get carried away

      Equipment is key it will make watering and maintaining the plant over its life easier witch is why I use the 5 gal food grade buckets with nets pots clay and the air pumps. It makes it so watering is less frequent and you can’t overwater. Some veggies indoors may be fun but not the most cost effective I’ve grown many different kinds like cucumbers, watermelon, pumpkin. My favorite is bell peppers they don’t drink a lot and live many years indoors and don’t eat a lot or need alot of EC to grow peppers. They grow peppers every 3 months and never stop. I will make a video on this as I want to talk more about plants I recommend and don’t recommend and in long and short form and why for people sense it really good information I’ve grown alot each plant drinks and eats and produces different amounts and some are way more worth it than others. Most of those things like pumpkin won’t like 3 years and keep producing and need lots of light space and food/water. I hope that helps and I hope my next videos can helps aswell. I hope you don’t mind if I reference your comment in my video I appreciate you :D

I have started a few things in my home but never live at the place long enough for the plants to grow their full potential or the dang fungal flies would get to them and kill my plants but this year I have time and I want to grow something to the full potential even if it's lettuce. However thank you so much for your insight you are so kind and helpful🤗🤗🤗 and of course you can use my comment hopefully I start me a instagram for my plants so you can see my progress as well.

      The last house had bugs because it had a lot more foliage surrounding the property this one is surrounded by rocks. There isn’t much alive outside to come inside on this property and this house doesn’t have as many holes and cracks for bugs to enter. I appreciate your concern but it’s not that big of a deal. That house had bugs befor I lived there. My garden did not attract them and indoors it’s really easy to eliminate bug problems when there arnt cracks holes and 10 kinds of bugs

    With all that humidity locked up inside s hot environment, how will you prevent mold and mildew? Yes, that is a problem in the SW. Swamp cooler homes are very mildewy. Unhealthy

      The house has all central air at 78 degrees and in the Nevada desert we have some of the lowest humidity in the country and is normally like %20 humidity I’m not worried about mold I’ve been doing this indoor for years
