Arrma kraton & outcast 4s v2.5 free upgrade centre diff disassembly with thicker fluid & maintenance
In this video I cover how to disassemble the Arrma RC outcast / kraton 4s v2.5 centre diff and add a thicker diff fluid to stop so much power transfer to the front wheels, this is a great cheap mod which has transformed the outcast for me
Do this to your Arrma kraton & outcast now, it dramatically transforms an already good truck into an absolute beast for wheelies and stunts.
Some general maintenance tips for your RC’s and the video can be used for anyone looking just to maintain the centre diff also with the standard fluid

We found an amazing location to use our Arrma big rock and Arrma kraton 4s Rc trucks. In our first video, we take our brand new Kraton 4s V2.5 & big rock 3s to the pump track. They took a few big hits and looked 12 months old after their first run, with the big rock coming off the track looking very sorry for itself. That will fit into your big rock, and you can upgrade and get rid of the slipper clutch….
Wing on the back of the big rock will help with impacts, shock brace too.
great video - but you need some quality hex drivers . those cheap free ones you got were making me nervous
I watched this to do the diff oil on my only two battery old car.. and one of my bearings was failing too, I ordered some new higher grade replacements and after running it for only three more batteries the original bearings where completely shot! Hopefully the new replacements last.
