To me this was their best lineup with Scott on drums i just love those early Blink 182 songs it became too slick and commercial without him on drums.

Lol I was at this warped show. Lotta good bands. I knew every single one except for two bands I'd never heard of: Limp Bizkit and Sugar Ray. Six months later they were both fucking huge

I remember hearing this song for the first time on Much Music in 1998, when I was 11. My mom went out of town with her sister and asked if I wanted her to bring me a gift. I think it was a toss up between a Tech Deck and 'the Blink 182 album'. I asked for the album. She brought it home, and I experienced it front to back using my Dad's fairly decent headphones. Dammit is obviously the most commercially successful single off the album; and that classic punk beat is something I hadn't really heard up until hearing Dammit on Much Music. But the album, and how it played as a whole, absolutely blew me away. Even as I type this I get a sense of nostalgic Deja vu that takes me back to that moment and the visceral feeling I had that night. I cannot overstate this- Dude Ranch changed my life. And while it's easy to complain and say today's music is shit, or that it's all too accessible, or too disposable- I am just glad that I got to experience punk music the way I did in the 90's and 00's.

This band died for me when they lost Scott, Travis is better technically...but Scott's a better punk drummer! Also, marks bass sounds like a fart!! Lol other than that, they sound gr8!

Jimmy Eat World has always just been kind of flat in personality and although they are good musicians, their live sound falls flat when many other bands sound heavier live than their albums.
