The whole episode I was basically repeating "don't judge her she's grieving" but she was SUCH a bitch to Penny. Obviously so traumatic for Meredith but surely as a doctor she should understand that it was not Penny's fault. She had 18 months to reason with her blame for Penny, who was a resident and actually tried too push for a head CT, and who Meredith AT THE TIME told "you did your best." I don't hate Mer but she was a twat in this episode

I hate how Grey's Anatomy intentionally misremembers facts to add drama. Penny was a resident, and she told the attendant that they should do a CT, and he overruled her, but a few episodes later, Meredith is blaming her for Derrick's death. Penny didn't pull an April Kepner and or an Alex Karev when they killed a patient. Penny had no authority in the situation that she was put in, and of course, she doesn't say that, because when someone accuses you of murder, you keep your mouth shut even when it wasn't your fault.
